3. Manicure and chiropody should be taken with necessary precaution measures

4.Therapy :

-Videx – 1 hour before or two after a meal. Use cold water.
-Viread-with food
-Sustiva – do not take it with greasy food
-Reyataz-with light meal, but with no alcohol!

-Ziagen-alcohol raises level of Ziagen in the blood
-Recreational drugs ( MMDA & GHB ) with Norvir-ritonavir could provoke a deathly outcome
-Carbamazepin (?) an epilepsy drug could decrease a HAART level in blood

5. Hold your medicine on a perceptible place. In that way you cannot miss them.

6. Write down on paper all your side-effect or possible infection symptoms.

7. Food:
Good: all kinds of nuts, fish & all kind of meat but well done in the oven or microwave, fresh fruit and vegetables but well washed, (specially all kinds of
red fruit) , yogurt acidophilus..onion
Bad: Fruit juices with added sugar- provoke Candida, refined sugar- bad for immune system, some kinds of coffee and tea- not god for stomach flora,
all kinds of salami's, sausage's and cold cuts with nitrates added, raw eggs, fish and gluten products (can provoke allergy)

8. Longer swimming in sea or river/ lake is not recommended
9.When you travel always take with you a distilled/bottled water even for tooth washing or contact lens cleaning……………

10. Build an honest and sincere relationship with your doctor. Feel free to ask him ANY question……..visit web pages with HIV themes

11. Release yourself of all conditions, feelings or positions that make you unhappy. Try to improve human relations with persons important to you.

Unfortunately, some of these advices are (due to a poor economic situation or a lack of medical care) on a long stick over here, but nevertheless I would like to hear your opinion………..
