Name for Next Gen HAART?
« on: March 09, 2007, 05:52:44 PM »
Hey guys!

It has become almost crystal clear that the next step in meds is most likely not a cure
But Rather a New Age internal self regulating ARV treatment that works on a cellular level.

It seems that a lot of people are developing and testing means to control the virus without any need for meds. Kind of like a "Body Cellular Defense Upgrade" ??

The next step is probably a living cell that has been modified to multiply on its own and destroy the hi-virus on its own all internally.

It seems that a lot of prelimenary test results have returned great results!
VL undetectable or +/- 1000 over a period of years!
<mod> Obviously it'll be a while before these new age treatments hit the public.
But what should we call it in the meantime?
It's difficult having to always state that something is not a cure, yet it is kinda...
One move closer... not quite at the end of the chessboard though.

What should we call this new age drug?
Personally, I was thinking of GMAT - Genetically Modified Antiretroviral Treatment
