help dont know what to do?

Hi my long time bf has Aids we have been getting help with meds and everything has been fine till now. I dont know where else to go he "makes to much money now" but we r barly making it. His insurance isnt helping either they r just holding his scips hostiage sorry I cant spell btw. Does anybody know of any help we can get he only has this month of meds covered. Its like waiting on the governor for a pardon of death. I need help from somebody for advice.

Many pharmaceutical companies offer co-pay assistance cards for HIV meds that are not "means tested" for income.  Check this link:

Go to an ASO - Aids Service Organisation and ask for help. 

What do you mean they are holding his prescriptions hostage? They are his. He can call his doctor and ask for new ones. 

As for the insurance company it has to fill what the policy says it will fill. 

Maybe the drug companies will cover the copays. 

If its too complicated, get to an ASO for some professional help figuring it out.

Very few people in the world can afford 1st world pricing for these drugs. Its a pity its especially complicated in the USA.  Don't let the shitty system win.  Get solutions for your bf.

holding it hostage as in his work just switched insurances so our pharmacy we go through cant send us our stuff because the insurence hasnt talked to his doctor yet. I talked to his nurse this morning lots of waiting and hoping something Its the shitty insurance that starts With an A and has a color in it. Life just got a little more rough ughh
