Thanks Ann and Em.  This university is known for horrors in the financial aid department.  There needs to be like an inservice or something, so everyone gives out the same, correct information.  I don't like to have to fight with people who are supposed to be "professionals" at what their job is.  But, at least it worked out.  Of course, I'm waiting for something to happen, like me going all the way to the end of the course, and finding out the registrar never did register me. :D

In other news, we're getting rain here, that's supposed to start freezing in a little while.  This has been a particularly nasty winter.  I really hate driving on ice, worse than trying to get over snow. :-\

Betty- Glad to hear everything worked out with school.  How is the job going?

If you think I am lying Snow can tell you, she has had the honor (and I use that word loosely) of speaking with some people.
Are you FU%$KING kidding me?  This is what I felt like saying when dealing with these people, it is just mind boggling, one lady actually told me that she would just make sure she yelled into the phone??? REALLY?
I am so glad you finally have a case manager hopefully that will help out.

I hope you guys are surviving all this snow we are getting pounded with, this is nuts!! I'm home with kids once again for a snow day and it looks like we will be home tomorrow too.

The beginning of the year has completely sucked for me so I am hoping things will turn around, sooner than later.
Hope everyone is well, welcome to all the new ladies that have joined and are starting to post, be blessed.S

Hi Ladies.
I haven't been around for a long time. Lucas is in Head Start this year. Between work, his homework and therapy, and volunteering in Lucas' class I just haven't taken the time. Lucas is doing great! Still undetectable and normal CD4. ;D

I was surprised how empty it is here. ???
Betty - Congratulations on the new full time job. I hope it's going well. :-*
Cin & Ice - Congratulations on the 3 additions to your family! :)

Hey Ladies---

Sorry, I haven't been on in awhile and a lot has happened, don't even know where to begin. With the help of Snow, I finally got an ASO who got me in with their clinic. So now I am back on my insulin though I am not on meds yet. Got blood work done finally, everything seems to be good which I consider a blessing since I had not seen a doctor in so long. My cd4 is at 550 and my vl is at 121,000 but my doctor doesn't think that is accurate. And since they changed labs wanted to draw more blood to be sure. But he said with my cd4 being what it is, he feels I don't need to get on meds at the moment. Praise the Goddess for that!!!!

The money hungry landlord and I have/had been battling it out for a minute. He found out the baby and her father had been staying with me. And started taxing him to be here, I felt so bad for him. But then when the father was struggling to try to pay him, he started threatening me with calling my Hasa worker. Or telling me since I let him stay with me that I owed him the money. Well, that pissed me off to no ends so I called him on his bluff by calling my worker myself and telling her what was going on. She explained that the baby and father could not stay with me so they had to move. But the landlord was hoping that he would get me kicked out the program. What he didn't know is that I saved every harassing text message he sent me and forwarded them to my worker. My worker communicates with me by text due to my hearing. And when one of his rent checks from Hasa was late getting to him, he tried to tell me that I had to pay their portion, my worker said not to pay it which I wasn't going to do anyway. Then the bastard had the nerve to start harrassing her. And she told me to give him her supervisors number which I did. Found out he called the supervisor and the supervisor told him something because I haven't had any problems from him since.

But I also found out how my landlord found out the baby and her father was living with me. My psycho ex had called and told him. Now isn't that some shit when the baby is his grandchild!?! He has also been texting my friend back in Pa sending her messages talking about how much he still loves me. I really don't know what his problem is but I wish to hell he would just stop with all this madness. I don't know why he keeps texting my friend and wish he would just leave me the hell alone! I had started dating someone else over a month ago. He was really sweet to me and treated me like a Queen. But I had to break up with him today due to his jealousy and insecurity. A nice man but too jealous and insecure for his own good. I warned him not to be like that and he knows what I went thru with the crazy ex and his jealousy. He claims to be in love with me. But why does being in love with me make him act like an ass? As much as I care for him, I refuse to go thru the jealousy/insecurity bs. Been there, done that.

So, that has been why I have not been on here recently. As well as I am always on Facebook now. So if you have a Facebook account, hit me up with ur name in a PM and I will add you as a friend. I have Jan, Ann, Netta,Snow, and Natasha as friends. Would love to add more of you ladies to the list. It is almost 3:30 so I need to try to get some sleep....

Great to hear from you, Queen.  Your landlord sounds like a jackass.  But I'm glad he talked to your worker's supervisor, and hopefully he'll leave you alone now.  Sorry about it not working out with the other guy, but you're better off if he's crazy jealous.  I'm not on the Facebook, or I would stay in touch there.  Anyway, great to hear from you!

Thanks Betty. How are things with you? I am surprised to see that the thread I started is still open. I guess things are busy for most at this point. Any way to communicate with you other than on here?

Hey Ladies!!!

Queen, Snow, Tendai and so many others its been a long time.  So much has happened since the last time I posted and when I have more time I will sit down to get it all out.  I have really missed chatting with you all but I didn't have the minutes that I needed to sit at a computer.  Still, I wanted to touch base and say hello.

Queen, really the only other way to communicate is by like e-mail.  I have a phone, but I know the difficulties you have with the hearing.  It is good to hear from you, I was wondering what happened.

I've been working full-time now.  I stopped school, as I couldn't work full time and go to school; it was just too much.  So I'm usually busy during the week, and am either on here early, early in the morning (think 4:00 am), or on the weekend.

Hi Netta,

I went to your site, but there's only one painting (a still life) and when I click on it nothing happens. Is there something else to click to get deeper into the site to see your pics?

Hey Ladies-

Wow, it's seems like a long while.  Hi Em, Netta, Betty, Queen, Ann and everyone popping in.  The winter seems to finally be winding down.  It was long and hard.  A few passings and a diagnosis of psoriatic arthritis for my husband.  It's a hard disease, progressive and crippling, but I'm praying that he'll do well with the medication.

Netta-  I really enjoy your postings on Facebook.  I saw your most recent work and it's fantastic.  It's wonderful to have a talent / gift.  Let me know if you have any questions with your software or wacom tablet.  I LOVE Mine, though, my ancient.  I think the egyptians might have had my version.

Queen-  I cannot believe your landlord.  It seems like you close the door on one drama, and the next one gets kicked wide open...with the last door still ajar.  Yikes!  thankfully, he'll quiet down after the supervisor's intervention.  At least you feel good about your doctor's decisions.  It's important that you see eye to eye with him.

Betty-  Great news regarding school and the job.  I hope the weather by you is finally settling down.

It seems to me that I need to track down the rest of you on facebook too.  It's easy to correspond from my phone, "there's an app for that" as the tech commercial would say.  Though, I'm very grateful for this forum and the forum design. I recently joined the Psoriasis Arthritis forum to research as much as I could.  They too have valuable information, and valuable members  :D

Hugs,

Camms

Enjoy your Sunday evenings, Monday for some!
