new light
« on: May 05, 2008, 04:05:30 am »
I put up a light over the counter in the kitchen where i do the prep work.
it was always gloomy there, even with the kitchen and dining room light on.
Just happend to find a folding arm scone on sale at home depot that looked like it would fit.
Well it fit just right, and makes a big difference.
makes it so easy to make lunch for work in the wee hours of the morning. ;)

Isn't it sad that Home Depot is closing.
Have you seen the stick-um up lights that stick to the underside of cabinets. They are battery operated, auto shut after two hours and the bulbs never burn out. Great for small task like making a sandwich in such an area as you described or  a darkened hallway area. I put two of them in the travel trailer.

Say it's not so !!...    ;)  What will I do, where will I go ?...  I usually hit a Home Depot, at least once a week. Everytime, I ask Ed "Ready to go to Home Depot ? " He gives me the look !!  ::)  and rolls his eyes. He's not a Home Depot type of person !  :)

My bad, Ray. Should have listened more attentively (  ::) ) pass the announcer spouting off  the headliners. Home Depot is closing 15 of it's stores.

They just bought one of the larger local, family owned stores in Santa Rosa.  They have 1 in Windsor (2 miles north of Santa Rosa and 2 in Santa Rosa.  The one in Signal Hill was like an afterhours place.  ;D  Have the best day

That's a hell of a drive to get to Home Depot !! Lowes is pretty good also. I can find things in Lowes, that I can't find in Home Depot.
