Title: My Daughters 10th Birthday today
Post by: Jim Allen on December 20, 2019, 09:42:58 am
It's my daughters 10th Birthday and I've been looking back at the baby pictures. I can remember very clearly like it was yesterday the first time I wiped her ass and now she is 10 already. Time does fly.

The party is in a few hours so busy blowing up balloons for the masses of snotty kids that will descend on us today  :(

Thanks for sharing, Jim. This gives me hope that I would have a family of my own soon :'(

If you don't mind me asking, was she conceived before your HIV diagnosis or after?

Congrats, time goes by fast.  It seems just like yesterday when my wife and I shared the birth of our daughter here on the forums.  (2007)

When I joined Aidsmeds back in 2005 I was filled with anxiety thinking I would not see my oldest graduate high school.  She's now 29, secure in her profession, married, and has bestowed upon me this little bundle of joy, my grandson.

The one I mentioned, the youngest, born when I had given up that having kids was possible is nicknamed, The Beast from the East.  She's an athlete... it must come from her mama.

We are blessed.

:) Great input and, glad to hear the anxiety was not warranted and you have been around to guide her.
