It's mentioned in the article that this drug may be used to cure HIV but fails to mention how.. Either way its good to know there's progress in treatment for chronic HBV as it kills so many worldwide..

If it works as good in humans as it has mice they may be on to something ... for Hep B .

interesting ... i think the assumption by the writer as it relates to HIV is that it can potentially force infected cells that are dormant to kill themselves the same way it does for hep b.
Seems like a bit of a leap in logic.
