Yes. I have had a number of vaccinations here.  I get them at Pattaya Memorial and the shots vary from about 900 baht for a flu shot to around 2000 baht for other shots.

They are private.

There is a medical "travelers clinic" associated with Mahadol Hospital that charges Thai prices.  The Thai Red Cross does HPV and HepB vaccines.

I've never been but seems like a good option.  Give us feedback if  you go.

I did it at Bumringrad in BKK. It was also private and similar prices to what Expat1 mentioned. Cannot remember exact price. For pneumonia, i also did it. There are 2 shots. They had problems with stock for the second shot so check ahead.

Terry made a great point. There are two shots. I took them in reverse order which is not bad, just a pain in the ass.

Get prevnar13 first. Then 6 weeks later pneumovax. If you do the opposite like I did it a year wait.

Also look at the meningococcal vaccine. It's a two shot series 60 days apart the NIH recommends. I took the first one a couple weeks ago.

Above 200 if I remember correctly is the guidance for any vaccination.

ETA: that's so you'll have an adequate response to it. It's not going to "hurt" you if you're below that but your doc might suggest waiting until 200 for the max effect.

It's going to be your doc's call. I took the series when I first joined the Army 21 years ago. I still have immunity, but my doc said let's do it again. I'm use to shots over the last 21 years so no biggie.

Just a precaution she said.

Hi All,

thanks for all your valuable advises. My doc suggested I get vaccinations too: pneumonia, hepatitis B and influenza.

BTW, do you guys do the flu vaccine every year on a regular basis?

@joemutt: thanks once again for the precious information (I already took advantage of several your advises!), I took a look at the website and it looks a very good place for this kind of service. Besides, it seems to be quite to the Thai red Cross, isn't it?

I got the same recommendations plus both docs said to get the meningococcal vaccine as well. Yes I get the flu shot every year the first week or so of October.

I get my flu shot every year since Dx`d and will get it again this year (today!).
Lots of traveling makes me more prone to picking up the flu.

You're welcome.
That vaccination place,  Queen Saovabha Travel Clinic, actually belongs also to the Thai Red Cross org. and you can walk there from Anonymous Clinic.
I do not get flue vaccine because it's different strains and different times of the year in the countries that I visit; I would have to get more than one vaccine and I don't get the flue easily.

Update for people living in Bangkok

I got my flu shot at Queen Saovabha (550 bath) as planned but eventually ended up getting HepB and pneumonia at another hospital: HepB vaccine is not available at Saovabha until next January and pneumonia is administered only to 50yo or older (unless you disclose your HIV+ status I guess, which I didn’t).

Saovabha is at walking distance from TRC, anyways you may prefer using a mototaxi.
