Welcome!

It's good to hear that you're dealing well with things. Can you tell us a little about the med(s) you're taking, and how your Viral load and cd4 counts are doing? Dealing with HIV can be isolating at times, much less around the holidays; but we've got members here who'll be glad to help with some of that and chat about living with HIV.

I don't really watch holiday movies; but I can tell you what would be at the bottom of my list --- every damned one of these Hallmark movies. Sure a couple of them have been cute; but so so many of them suuuuck! and not in the good way at all.

No! I have not been really watching them. I've been sitting here with my laptop and earbuds bingeing the last season of Doctor Who (they didn't write Jodi much, like none, of a soliloquy before shipping her out with a regeneration, did they?), while my adorable, beloved husband keeps watching these horrible holiday romcoms.

Hi I was diagnosed back in 2021 towards the end of Covid lockdown. I haven’t disclosed to anyone close to me and have little to no gay friends in my area. I was looking for some sort of group resources and found this forum. I’ve coped pretty well with my condition as I’ve stayed healthy. I’ve recently had some health issues seeming unrelated to HIV but have left me feeling pretty isolated with no one to talk to. On top of life just being hard. I’m not sure what I’m looking to find but I think having people I can really talk to will help

Wow it sounds like you are doing amazingly, and that your physical health will have a great outlook with all of your education. Kudos, and if you’re ever interested, we have peer support bi-weekly. It has become something of a social hour while within the parameters of that week’s hiv related topic.
