"Golden Tears" in Texas, coming to Nashville
« on: March 26, 2010, 11:33:39 am »
My partner and I just bought a gorgeous painting from Jim Fredrick studios in Dallas. "Golden Tears" was created after Jim was diagnosed with PML. The layers of paint are in tune with the layers of emotion that this terrific man, and artist felt at the time. We are honored to showcase this piece in our home. Please visit his site, and read his blog at www.jimfrederickstudios.com

Wow, he really does some nice work. Did you know he wrote about your painting on his blog and posted a photo? http://www.jimfrederickstudios.com/blog/index.php - March 25th's entry.

I have to admit it's not one of my favourites - but the story behind it is powerful.

Thanks for posting this - I really enjoyed viewing his work. Wish I could afford one!

I agreee with the ladies Brain there are some wonderful art works there, I went into the the link that Ann put and looked through the gallery, the one that caught my eye was a painting called "Electric"..wonderful piece, and yes I wouldn't mind owning one.

I'm sure you have found the perfect place to hang your painting.

This artist has some wonderful works. I believe some of his pieces have gone to a publisher and can be obtained in serigraph form and the cost is extremely less. There is very little visual appearance difference and they are affordable. I believe one of the sites you can check is art.com.

It truly is a hallmark of anyones collection.
