Hi.has anyone tried turmeric for bph or other ailments etc? Does it help bph symptoms. I'm waiting for rezum or urolift to become available in Asia but so far I can't find it anywhere.

For us uninitiated, what is both?

For us uninitiated, what is both?
Benign prostatic hyperplasia ie prostate enlargement
fortunately, in my late 50s, I'm not having bph which happens more frequently to older men; but unfortunately I'm dealing with chronic bacterial prostatitis (prostate infection) that most frequently happens to men 50 and younger. I guess the 50s are the new 40s. ;D Hopefully the ton of cipro I've taken in the last few months has done the trick. ;)
I've used turmeric some as a spice. i'll have to read up more about it.

Get tumeric with black pepper extract- it will help with the absorption. Turmeric in general is great for targeting inflammation and helping calm it down. Its also gone tk battle with antidepressant drugs and has stayed a strong, natural contender. Note that it typically takes around 90 days for the benefits and effects to be felt.

I came back to the forums to look into Prostatitis to see if I could find any information about it and it seems this forum has a wealth of posts about it.
The only help I can offer is to try Pygeum. I've been taking it on and off but as of the past 3-4 days I've been taking it (25mg) twice a day and I am blown away how well it's helped things. It's relatively cheap at Vitamin Shoppe (U.S. Brick and mortar store) It works better than Saw Palmetto. I highly recommend taking it with food to avoid the nausea.
