So in light of all previous info what seems to be the best way to have an intake of EGCG...........I mean a pill have more EGCG than cup of tea but is it worth or efficient in the same way as natural tea............

Quote :According to Dr. Nance, the investigators were determined to show that physiological levels of EGCG – an amount achieved by drinking just two cups of green tea – caused inhibition of gp120 binding to CD4 cells. After all, artificially high concentrations of EGCG placed in test tubes to inhibit binding have no meaning for patients. ? ! ?
And green tea should be prepared with unboiled water app. 80 C and left for 2`
If longer it may have a bitter taste .
And with a lemon added arome it is just delicious.............
Any oppinions ?

Sasa,
I've never done the green tea supplements. I do however drink green tea on a regular basis.Have for a long time. I also buy the Green tea/ tea bags for brewing hot tea. I very seldom drink coffee.

I do both. I figure it can't hurt.

First off, lemon is good for everything, even bad breath and will take that fishy smell out of metal pans. and supposedly will kill the HIV virus, but no way to get it to the cells, LOL. Green tea is like every thing else, doesn't hurt to drink it but nothing is scientificlly conclusive based on an article or two. I heard something else recently on a news show about helping keep HIV undectetable with a certain food or herb, forget now; wasn't that interested have heard so much; where is the cure!?!

Personally, I would make a cup of green tea. It tastes good.
And yes, I have read that green tea should be steeped in almost boiling water, for a shorter period of time than a black tea. It can get a little bitter when steeped to long. Depends on your taste as to how long to steep it.
