A big heavy brooklyn palmetto crawled onto my chest and seemed to take a good hard look at me, the night before the first time I went to Ibiza.  Then in Ibiza, I ate too much hash and my soon to be bf turned into a giant praying mantis who seemed to be preening to eat me.  Quite a number of years later it came out that this bf had hidden his HIV+ status all along, lying to my face many times.  Luckily we always had safe sex.

I do feel that insects know or thing or two we not be aware of.
