Be sure to click the vid in the article to hear the voicemail about the snow day. Yikes!!

Good God! Someone needs their meds adjusted. Maybe he was the only one who left his phone number. She must wear the pants in her house, otherwise why wouldn't she let her husband return the call?
-
I would like to hear the initial message the student left. With a listed number, I bet theyve been getting a lot of phone calls since this hit the net. Damn.

I used to teach for Fairfax County, and I know that high school. Kids in Fairfax County are well, many are WEALTHY and parents are OVER INDULGENT. I finally left because I was tired of getting 2 page emails over a B+. I can totally understand that woman snapping, I am surprised she didn't drive over and go off on the parents. I wanted to soooo many times. Kids and parents can be assholes!
-
She may sound over the top, but I'll lay money the kid is in fact a "snot nosed brat" that deserved every bit of lashing & then some. One hint is when she says, "don't even suggest he purposefully didn't answer his phone". You know this little turd was leaving a snarky message in the first place, and now just feels oh-so-clever about himself that he got her response on the net.

File Under: Ha, Ha, effin Ha.
Now the kid is upset because he is suffering from unendling media calls to his home phone, and he wishes the story would just "go away". Simply delicious. Serves him right.

Its stuff like this that makes me GLAD that I did not become a public school teacher.
-
The joke will be on the little s**t when his GPA and test scores can't get him into anything but a community college. The Internet has fierce karma.
...and please don't remind me of unrelenting media attention.....

I can dig where that woman was coming from. Calling the Administrator at home to complain about anything related to his work is intrusive and offensive.
She was right to tell him where to get off.

The woman is right, but she was baited. I bet the kid thinks he was slick.
They keep making the point of how the administrators phone number is LISTED - as if that makes it all ok.
