I'm taking PREP on demand as I only have sexual activity once a month (mostly BJ, both receptive and insertive).
I was suppose to meet a guy today but I won't see him until tomorrow.
So I took the 2 pills 7pm today (3 hours before my date), but I'm prob meeting this guy 10pm tomorrow. My question is: should I took 2 pills again when I reach 24h mark tomorrow (and didn't have any sexual activity)? Or just one?
Sorry if my question is on the wrong section (or I should reply in the other thread I made?). I don't fully understand the forum yet.

Take a single pill 24 hours after you took the double dose, so that would be 7 pm tomorrow and then continue taking PrEP daily until you have had two sex-free days.

Ok so I kinda did the same thing again but I did something stupid.
I took 2 pills yesterday around 10 pm, but my date only happened 11 am today. 2 hours before the date I took another pill (cause I decided to bottom - so I don't know, I always get anxious even if it's with a condom), so this make 3 pills in less than 24 hours. :o
But should I take another pill today at 10 pm (and ignore I already took one today) or just around 11 am tomorrow?

I'm planning to have sex again today, around 10 pm. I'm almost taking another pill cause it was the time I took the double dose yesterday.
On demand sometimes is so confusing (or I'm just too anxious)...

So although not needed you took an additional dose at 9 am today (2 hours before your 11am date) and you are planning another sexual encounter (👍) later today.
Next time stick to the schedule! Anyhow , take the next dose at 9 am tomorrow and take an additional dose 9 am the day after that.

Between my own meds and my son's I have to arrange 12 dosages of different meds a day. That's not complicated and 2-1-1 prep is simple in comparison.
Next time stick to the schedule, you are overthinking things and taking meds early for no reason.
1) Take your double dose 2 to 24 hours before sex.
2) Take a single dose every day after the initial double dose at the same time of day until you have had two doses after sex.

Yes, I usually don't bottom so I'm always thinking being extra caution is needed. I was supposed to take the 2nd dose today at 10 pm, 24 hours after the double dose yesterday. Even with this overdosing, PreP levels still high and effective?
Anyway, I'll only take another pill 9 am tomorrow.

The PrEP by following the correct protocol is already the additional caution as you are also using condoms. Taking even more drugs than needed isn't being smart. Anyhow taking too much PrEP doesn't reduce it's effectiveness.
Anyway, I'll only take another pill 9 am tomorrow.
+ An additional dose at 9 am the day after tomorrow.
