Screw the 200 mark, I'm happy for 100. I got my blood tests back, my CD4 is 151. No I don't know the %, my Dr. just calls me with the CD4 and VL (that is UD). He did say my % was still real low, I just don't know the number.
So in 15 months my CD4 went up 60 point, numbers whatever it is. And then in 3 months it went up almost as much as it took 15 months prior. Go figure.
Then only thing that has really changed in 3 months is I started work, school, and my eating habits got a little worse. My eating habits have since started to get better.

Hey KK,
This is great news to read! Well, your immune system is apparently on the honor roll -- congratulations.

I hear ya Michelle ! :) Congrats on the latest numbers. As one of those that had 16 t-cells back in 2003, and already at that point into almost 18 of being positive, I was happy when I got above 100. I never really expected in time, to ever get much above the mid 200's. Looking back, I honestly never thought that would be possible.
So,... I am quite happy that my current t cells are at 507. Percentage is still in the low area, But overall I am feeling pretty good considering where I've been.
I've also noticed through the past 9 years or so ( after starting treatment), that even though some readings may be lower than others, the trend ( for me ) has been slowly , but steadily getting better.
I had some labs done last week, so I am still waiting to view those results on line.
Take care-----Ray 8)

Thanx guys.
I think I will celebrate with an Alabama Slammer, and a shot of Chambord in DC. :)
Maybe even a tattoo also if I can get my wimpy, scaredy-cat nerves up.

same thing here. ;) Even though I've barely cracked the 300 mark (finally! after 19 yrs of meds) during the last 8 yrs (8 good yrs on T/R/N) I have watched my cd4s gradually trend UP.

what sort of % are you around Ray? Mine doesn't seem to ever get over 16%, while most often I'm around 12-14%. Of course though, since I haven't been back in the hospital in 15 yrs or so, I know it's not how many or what %, its all about how well those little cd4s are doing their job. ;)
Maybe even a tattoo also if I can get my wimpy, scaredy-cat nerves up.
do you know what tat you want Michelle, or are you planning on looking through the flash at the shop?? I have always gone into a shop with the tat I wanted. While waiting I've always seen 5 or 6 other ones that I wanted too. ::) LOL

I was always meandering between 13% and 16%. Currently it is at 17%, which I think is the highest that it's been. Sure would be nice to break 20%
I keep my numbers updated in my signature line, as they become available :)

Michelle,
Now doesn't it feel good to live to be over 100? You will soon turn around that next corner and make it beyond 200.
Take care.

Right on Michelle - I admire your ever so positive spirit that is woven throughout your threads.

I am getting a red ribbon with 01/18/2011 either under it or around it or something.
I also want a ring of feathers with the harley bar and shield. I have a drawing of that tattoo that I carried with me for almost 30 years and then when i moved from CO to PA it got lost, (well probably taken). Now I will get the ribbon first.
I'm a wuss when it comes to needles and pain. I tell my boyfriend there is a reason I take a pill every morning and not a shot in the butt every 3 months. ;D
My percent is still in the single digits.
@Leatherman --are you going this weekend?
