Nice article!! I am a tattoo fan (I have two full tattoo sleeves, all done before the Dx) and actually, it would be a good idea a tattoo that simbolize HIV..I'd like the red ribbon actually (maybe in my chest or back) but I'm not entirely come to terms with my diagnosis, so it's a bit far away, and my older ones need a touch up, really.
Dx: 05/14/2008
Latest HIV Meds combo I've been taking:

Kaletra + Combivir (since 05/16/2008 - 05/09/2019)
Acriptega (05/10/2019 - today)

Why not. You acquired the thing for life, so it would be commonsensical to have the mark permanently on your body.  :-*

I think those are rockin tattoo's, I was thinking of getting the Rad & Bio ones on both of my outer biceps, aint no shame in my game, I'd be proud to have em , I cannot change my HIV-POZ-Status, so I might as well embrace it, after 24 yrs. :D

I love guys with tattoos, could never get one while living at home.
but I am SOO getting one now that I'm out on my own.

first I have to get my " wings ", I'll post a picture when I get them
my little 21st bday present to myself. and thinking of doing a
whole bunch of crazyness on my left part of my chest. just have to find a decent
tattoo parlor here in the mountains

I had that idea back in 2005. I got some stick-on tattoos and the toxic waste were my favorite. I figured it would make people wonder. I don't think I'd make it permanent, however.

4 months after my diagnosis, I got a tattoo on the inside of my left forearm near where they take blood that says "no regrets." and I love it. The best thing I could have done for myself.
