There has been a bit of drama for me and Santi, all regarding my job and what may or not be happening with my future employment. While I'm happy to report we are almost to the hopefully happy ever after, or at least a few more years of my kicking ass in a visible position, at this time it is more important to note that we will be attending the Born This Way Ball in Houston tomorrow night. By this time tonorrow, we will be rejoicing in the encores of an inspirational pop star.
I say inspirational because she has been exactly that for me. When we saw her nearly 2 years ago, she was full of energy and messages and a general feeling of "if you want it, you can do it." I've known my job has been iffy for 3 years, even before I bought our home, but truthfully, I've been thinking since the last time that I saw her that if the shit hit the fan, I would make it smell sweet. It may seem corny, but I allowed her to give me hope. I drank the Koolaid. and I feel like I was BORN THIS WAY, baby!

Hope you guys enjoy the event. I don't see her appeal but am glad you find inspiration in her work.

I think he's referring to her uplifting message of support and togetherness in general. She really does have a charitable heart and would seemingly go to the ends of the earth for the gay community. That is the appeal and I would imagine that is where his inspiration is coming from.

Okay --- so, how was it?? Fortifying? Hope you and Santi had a very memorable night and got enough inspiration to sustain your already good momentum. Should we be calling you a 'monster'?

Have a great time at the Lady Gaga concert, it should be alot of fun, I'm sure. Glad the employment situation looks good now and I hope you get everything good coming your way going forward you two great guys.

Have the best time, my beautiful granddaughter will be so jealous when I tell her, she saw her in Glasgow and absolutely loved the Lady.

Some of us are BFFs with Gaga, and got to see her up close and personal. Many hoped she would stop by, even though I am not sure she usually makes appearances at local gay bars. Ours does have a large, drag theater with balconies, and it is just a couple blocks from the stadium.
