Welcome to Do I Have HIV?

Welcome to the "Do I Have HIV?" POZ forum.

This special section of the POZ forum is for individuals who have concerns about whether or not they are HIV positive. Individuals are permitted to post up to three questions or responses in this forum.

Ongoing participation in the "Do I Have HIV?" forum (posting more than three questions or responses) requires a paid subscription, with secure payments made via PayPal.

A seven-day subscription is $9.99, a 30-day subscription is $14.99 and a 90-day subscription is $24.99.

Anyone who needs to post more than three messages in the "Do I Have HIV?" forum -- including past, present and future POZ Forums members -- will need to subscribe, with secure payments made via PayPal.

There is no charge to read threads in the "Do I Have HIV?" forum, nor will there be a charge for participating in any of the other POZ forums. In addition, the POZ Basics "HIV Transmission and Risks" and "HIV Testing" basics, will remain accessible to all.

I have been a lurker for some time to try and get some facts about whether I was at risk of infection and how much.

I wanted to pop in to thank you all for your good advice to people and for putting up with so many "am I infected" notes.

My story is simple,  I had sex with a working girl with a condom.  Before we had sex the second time she jumped onto me and I was unprotected for two thrusts and I removed her and protected myself accordingly.   It felt good and I know why so many men just at that stage think wtf, I'll be ok.

Since then I fell ill, convinced myself it was the infection of HIV but again, you guys helped me through this.
Today was a very tough day - I got tested this morning after waiting for some time and got my results this evening.  Whatever the result I was going to post.

So, I am negative, but hopefully this time will learn to control my anatomy before someone else does.

I will continue to lurk and will look to help others the way I have been helped.

So thanks to you all.  8)

I'm very glad you tested negative and that you are so committed to consistently using condoms. Way to go!
