Happy Mabon!
« on: September 21, 2006, 10:40:34 pm »
Today, the autumnal equinox, is the time of the celebration of Mabon.

Deities associated with Mabon include all Wine Deities - particularly Dionysus and Bacchus.

Need I say more.

Happy Mabon, one and all.  ;D

HUGS,

Mark

There's nothing like a couple of bottles of good wine shared with a few good Pagan friends to get the party going...bring back paganisim and witchcraft that's what I say...they have so much more fun.... :D

Mark, John, fancy sharing a couple of bottles of "Jacobs Creek"... ;)

Hugs

Take care,

Jan, John, sharing any wine with you would be a delight.  ;D

Let the juice of the grape flow! Or, maybe, even a bottle of homemade dandelion wine!

I did greek mythology at school...I loved the subject.

Bacchus, born from the 'thighs of Zeus", was brought up on the mythical Mount nysa where he planted his first grape vine...so everytime you open a good bottle of wine raise your glass and thank the man who made it all possible... :D

So lets all hear it for Bacchus... :D

Basquo sweetheart that was Last week... ;)

Lwood,

I've got a rare vintage MD 20/20 just for you (don't worry about the flavor, they all taste the same anyway).

That way you'll have a headstart on the second Autumnal Pagan festival, Christmyheadhurts

Hmmm....Bacchus.  I feel a kinship with him.  Like we were brothers in a past life.  I lift my glass to my brother Bacchus.   :O

Perhaps this answeres the nagging question of what the" M.D"  in MD20/20 stands for... Mabon Day...
Ok maybe not.
