hi all
I am 28 years old
last month i was with a girl who is confirmed HIV positive. I hadnt had sex for a long time before that
anyway. when we were together i wasent wearing my underwear but just a formal pant. anyway we got close and we started rubbing our bodies against each other...i was really exicted and i ejucalauted in my pants and got wet in my pants.
she was dressed and was wearing a tight track pant. i also fondeled her breasts but i dint kiss her.
she has plenty of pimples on her face with some of them having pus(septic) which i noticed she kept on touching. i fear that she mayhave touched her pimples and touched me at the same time...cause she did touch my lips with her hands.
after i ejacualted i was feeling scared and i went home. she is EXTREMLY promoscusios.
inow i have swollen lymph nodes and a purple spot on my upper thigh. i am very very scared. she also spits while she speaks and her salivia could have gone in my eyes directly. is it possible for a transmission to take place?
also i kissed a girl after this incident ...and its cold here so i have dry lips and the skin on the lips does come off.. is it possible that the new girl that i kissed could have also been exposed after possibbly swallowing my piece of skin while kissing?
I really dont know what to do and i am really scared...
Please help

scared,

NOTHING you report was a risk for hiv infection. No way, no how. Hiv is a fragile, difficult to transmit virus that is primarily transmitted INSIDE the human body, as in unprotected anal or vaginal intercourse.

Along with reading our Transmission Lesson (linked to in the Welcome Thread), here's what you need to know in order to remain hiv negative.

You need to be using condoms for anal or vaginal intercourse, every time, no exceptions until such time as you are in a securely monogamous relationship where you have both tested for ALL sexually transmitted infections together. To agree to have unprotected intercourse is to consent to the possibility of being infected with an STI. Sex with a condom lasts only a matter of minutes, but hiv is forever.

Have a look through all three condom and lube links in my signature line so you can use condoms with confidence.

Anyone who is sexually active should be having a full sexual health care check-up, including but not limited to hiv testing, at least once a year and more often if unprotected intercourse occurs.

If you aren't already having regular, routine check-ups, now is the time to start. As long as you make sure condoms are being used for intercourse, you can fully expect your routine hiv tests to return with negative results. Don't forget to always get checked for all the other sexually transmitted infections as well, because they are MUCH easier to transmit than hiv.

Use condoms for anal or vaginal intercourse, correctly and consistently, and you will avoid hiv infection. It really is that simple!

No, you do not need to test over this incident. As Ann has already told you, none of the activities you participated in with this woman put you at risk for HIV transmission. HIV is a fragile virus which is not easily transmitted. None of the things you did together provided the kind of receptive setting needed. Essentially, in terms of sexual activities, unprotected vaginal and anal intercourse are the activities you want to avoid. If you always use a condom for those you will be fine as far as HIV is concerned in sexual terms.

In general we do recommend that any who's sexually active regularly have a full STD panel done - at least annually. But as far as this incident is concerned no HIV testing is necessary.

scared,

You have NOT had a risk for hiv infection in this latest incident.

It sounds to me like you're slipping down the slope into hiv paranoia hell. Don't go there, go seek out a therapist and get help before it's too late.

We can't help you with your extreme hiv anxiety here. Seek face to face counseling.

scared,

No, even if you were hiv positive, you could not have infected your father.

See your doctor about your lymph gland. It's nothing to do with hiv. You can be sure we'd tell you if you'd had a risk of infection - we take this very seriously. You didn't have a risk.

Make sure you use condoms for anal or vaginal intercourse and you won't have a risk in future either. Read through all three condom and lube links in my signature line so you can use them correctly and with confidence.

hi all...
i am extermly worried today
yesterday i kissed a girl with dry mouth....i know its not a risk
however here is a very very scary part.
while we were getting cozy she was licking my ears and also tried to get her toungue inside my ear..
we both were getting excited ....she did this atleast two times with her saliva going in my ear.....
when i came home...i washed my ears and some water may have gone even deeper inside taking the saliva with it while i was washing...
my question is would the track have cause the saliva go into any mucuos membrane or my brain(ear and brain are connected) inside my ear?
i also kissed her and there was some loose skin on her hand which may have gone inside my mouth.
i really dont know what to do now?
I dont know her HIV status.
Please help me

scared,

Saliva is not infectious and therefore you did not have a risk. Skin is also not infectious.

Have you bothered to read our Transmission Lesson yet? If you did, you'd know this. There's a link in the Welcome Thread -  get reading.

scared,

You only need to test if you been havinig UNPROTECTED anal or vaginal intercourse. NOTHING you have brought to us is a concern where hiv is concerned.

Have you bothered reading the Transmission Lesson yet? Come back with yet another no-risk-no-way scenario and you just might earn yourself a time out.

Quote
Anyone who continues to post excessively, questioning a conclusive negative result or no-risk situation, will be subject to a four week Time Out (a temporary ban from the Forums). If you continue to post excessively after one Time Out, you may be given a second Time Out which will last eight weeks. There is no third Time Out - it is a permanent ban. The purpose of a Time Out is to encourage you to seek the face-to-face help we cannot provide on this forum.

It's time you got on with your life. Use condoms for anal or vaginal intercourse, correctly and consistently, and you will avoid hiv infection. Read through all three condom and lube links in my signature line.
