Very worried from massage

A month and a half to two months ago I visited a massage parlor. Im worried because I was nude and received a handjob with spit from the women massues. 3 weeks after this I was tested for HIV and it was negative for some reasoning am still worried and was tested again yesterday, the results are suppose to be in tomrrown but im struggling and have anxiety. I've heard (cdc) its possible that blood may have been in the spit a d gone in the urethra. Please if anyone with professional knoeldge can help that would be great.

You are worrying needlessly. Being masturbated is not a risk for HIV. The only confirmed risks for the sexual transmission of HIV are unprotected vaginal and anal intercourse. If you use condoms for those activities consistently you will be well protected. It really is just that simple.

There's no need for testing over this recent incident you are concerned about.

No. Not only is saliva not infectious, but it also contains over a dozen different proteins and enzymes that damage hiv and render it unable to infect.

In addition, hiv is a fragile, difficult to transmit virus that is primarily transmitted INSIDE the human body as in unprotected anal or vaginal intercourse where the virus never leaves the confines of the two bodies.

Once outside the body, small changes in temperature, and pH and moisture levels all quickly damage the virus and render it unable to infect.

Any hiv that may have been in the saliva would have been damaged by the combination of being outside the body as well as the anti-hiv properties of the saliva itself.

You did NOT have a risk for hiv infection.

Here's what you need to know in order to avoid hiv infection:

You need to be using condoms for anal or vaginal intercourse, every time, no exceptions until such time as you are in a securely monogamous relationship where you have both tested for ALL sexually transmitted infections together.

To agree to have unprotected intercourse is to consent to the possibility of being infected with an STI. Sex without a condom lasts only a matter of minutes, but hiv is forever.

ALTHOUGH YOU DO NOT NEED TO TEST OVER A HANDJOB, anyone who is sexually active should be having a full sexual health care check-up, including but not limited to hiv testing, at least once a year and more often if unprotected intercourse occurs.

If you aren't already having regular, routine check-ups, now is the time to start. As long as you make sure condoms are being used for intercourse, you can fully expect your routine hiv tests to return with negative results.

Don't forget to always get checked for all the other sexually transmitted infections as well, because they are MUCH easier to transmit than hiv.

Use condoms for anal or vaginal intercourse, correctly and consistently, and you will avoid hiv infection. It really is that simple!

So after reading your responses yesterday I had relaxed that was until today. Like I had mntioned earlier the second hiv test I took was this past Wednesday around 2pm (first a mont prior) the doctor had said the results should be in
Today. When I called for the results the MA said that the lab told them nothing would be ready till earliest Monday. They were doing a chylmadia test also. Im now worried that they did a first test that came back positive and now detesting which is causing the delay. Very worried.
