Availability & Types of antivirals availabile in Thailand?

Hi,

Hope this is the right sub forum to post in..

My wife has been HIV+ for four years now doing fine on Atripla here in the USA
We are going to move to Northern Thailand later this year & have not been able to get any positive information on what drugs are available for her treatment there.

Our doctor here does not know & I have tried the web. Even written to the red cross there because I did see on a forum that folks take their prescriptions there as the prices are better.
As far as we know Atripla is not available there. Does anyone happen to know what is or where I might find this information?

There is both branded and generic Truvada and Stocrin, the components which make Atripla, available in Bangkok. You might contact the pharmacy of a bigger hospital like Mc Cormick or Ram in Chiangmai to check availability in that city. If confirmed then I would look for cheaper suppliers such as the Red Cross or GPO pharmacy though I am not familiar with the particular situation in Chiangmai. Hope this helps a bit, will dig further.

btw: disregard my question of do these things equal taking Atripla in the PM of yours I answered. I saw the PM before I saw this post in which you said yes it is.
