Title: SD BIOLINE HIV 1/2
Post by: bivrat on June 11, 2012, 12:17:23 am
I have tested negative after 2.5 year of possible exposure by Rapid HIV test in one of the VCT center CAAP in Bangladesh. They give me my result within 15 minuite. Is it ok or i need to do further test?

Three months past possible exposure has been the standard for years. You absolutely do not have HIV and should not be posting in this forum.

Bivrat,

I moved your thread from the "I Just Tested Poz" forum to the "Am I Infected?" forum. As you have NOT "just tested poz", this is the ONLY forum in which you are permitted to post.

Make sure you read and follow our rules found in this forum's Welcome Thread (http://forums.poz.com/index.php?topic=220.0). If you continue to disregard our rules, you risk being banned. Thank you for your cooperation.

You do not have hiv. The rapid tests are reliable tests.

The testing window period for hiv is three months.

The vast majority of people who have actually been infected will seroconvert and test positive by six WEEKS, with the average time to seroconversion being only 22 days. A six week negative must be confirmed at the three month point, but is highly unlikely to change.

You tested negative two and a half YEARS after a possible exposure and that means you are without doubt hiv negative. Unless your possible exposure was unprotected anal or vaginal intercourse, you've been worrying for no good reason anyway.

You do not have hiv!

Here's what you need to know in order to avoid hiv infection:

You need to be using condoms for anal or vaginal intercourse, every time, no exceptions until such time as you are in a securely monogamous relationship where you have both tested for ALL sexually transmitted infections together.

To agree to have unprotected intercourse is to consent to the possibility of being infected with an STI. Sex without a condom lasts only a matter of minutes, but hiv is forever.

Have a look through the condom and lube links in my signature line so you can use condoms with confidence.

ALTHOUGH YOU DO NOT NEED FURTHER HIV TESTING AT THIS TIME, anyone who is sexually active should be having a full sexual health care check-up, including but not limited to hiv testing, at least once a year and more often if unprotected intercourse occurs.

If you aren't already having regular, routine check-ups, now is the time to start. As long as you make sure condoms are being used for intercourse, you can fully expect your routine hiv tests to return with negative results.

Don't forget to always get checked for all the other sexually transmitted infections as well, because they are MUCH easier to transmit than hiv. Some of the other STIs can be present with no obvious symptoms, so the only way to know for sure is to test.

Use condoms for anal or vaginal intercourse, correctly and consistently, and you will avoid hiv infection. It really is that simple!

I am too worried thats why i did another rapid test by HIV Device. 3 of them picture are taken by finger blood and another 3 of them from vein blood. Please comment on my test result done by one of the Ultra HIV test Kit (EXCEL) yesterday.

Fears and doubts are not facts. Your negative test results are facts.

HIV is not your problem. You are HIV negative. Stop the drama and get on with your life.

Bivrat,

The answer to all four of your questions is YES.

1. Yes, you really are negative.

2. Yes, the test is ok.

3. Yes, it is ok for negative.

4. Yes. There is no difference between "finger blood" and "vein blood".

YOU DO NOT HAVE HIV!!!

If you read the Welcome Thread (http://forums.poz.com/index.php?topic=220.0) before posting like you're supposed to, you will have read the following posting guideline:

Quote

Anyone who continues to post excessively, questioning a conclusive negative result or no-risk situation, will be subject to a four week Time Out (a temporary ban from the Forums). If you continue to post excessively after one Time Out, you may be given a second Time Out which will last eight weeks. There is no third Time Out - it is a permanent ban. The purpose of a Time Out is to encourage you to seek the face-to-face help we cannot provide on this forum.

Please consider yourself warned!

Bivrat,

Why are you testing anyway? Unless you are testing because you had unprotected anal or vaginal intercourse, or shared drug injecting equipment with someone, then you never had a risk to begin with.

You've had what, four negative test results two and a half years after whatever makes you think you were at risk? Dude, you don't have hiv. It doesn't matter if one of the tests you did lacked buffer. You're still hiv negative.

And by the way, if I understand you correctly, the last three tests were done at home. We don't recommend those types of tests (the only exception is Home Access, which is not available in your country) because they have a very high rate of FALSE POSITIVE results. You didn't get a positive result - you got negative. Three at home and one in a clinic.

YOU DO NOT HAVE HIV.

Keep posting to question your conclusive negative status and you WILL be given that time out you've been warned about.

PLEASE CONSIDER YOURSELF WARNED FOR THE VERY LAST TIME!!!

Doesn't seem as you are listening to anything said to you nor to Ann's repeated warnings about getting a Time Out.

Which is what I am giving you now for 28 days. Don't make the mistake of trying to get aorund it by creating a new account. We'll spot that right off and it will get you banned permanently. HIV is not your problem. Get on with your life.

Biv,

I've merged your new thread into your original thread - where you should post all your additional thoughts or questions. It helps us to help you when you keep everything in one thread. It doesn't matter how long it has been since you last posted in your thread or if the subject matter is different.

If you need help finding your thread when you come here, click on the "Show own posts" link under your name in the left-hand column of any forum page.

Please also read through the Welcome Thread (http://forums.poz.com/index.php?topic=220.0) so you can familiarize yourself with our Forum Posting Guidelines. Thank you for your cooperation.

You have already been told - repeatedly - that the window period for hiv testing is three months. Of course a test after a year is conclusive. Your friend does not have hiv.

Andy beat  me to giving you a time out. Do not attempt to create a new account to get around your time out because if you do, you will be permanently banned.

After 28 days timeout this is my last post here. I did another test in Jagori (VCT Center) and it came back Negative also.

My test are as follows:

1. CAAP (VCT Center) - Negative (After 2.5 year of Possible Exposure)-Verbal Result
2. EXCEL-Ultra HIV test Device - Negative (In Home) - 4 time - (After 2.6 year of Possible Exposure)
3. SD Bioline HIV 1/2 - Negative (In Home) - 6 time - (After 2.7 year of Possible Exposure)
4. Jagori (VCT Center) ICDDR'B - Negative (Printed Report Given) - (After 2.9 year of Possible Exposure)

So total 12 time i just tested Negative. I think the time out was good for me to force test again in Jagori (VCT Center). Thanks all and dont loose hope. :)

Bivrat,

I've just deleted a post you made in someone's thread in the Just Tested POZ forum as well as the one you made in the Research forum. You've been asked at least three times now to read the Welcome Thread (http://forums.poz.com/index.php?topic=220.0). If you had bother to do as you were asked, you would know that you are NOT permitted to post outside your thread here in the Am I Infected forum.

You just don't listen to a single thing we say to you. Not only have you refused to accept the fact that you are conclusively hiv negative and have been since you first posted here, but you also think you can disregard our posting rules.

I'm giving you another time out. This one will last for 56 days. If you come back after this time out with more of the same crap, you'll be permanently banned.

Ann
