I don't have the answer for why people are having more unsafe sex. I guess I can understand people who are positive having unsafe sex with other positive people but negative people are just getting lazy or stupid I guess. Like you said drugs will make people do stupid things. I don't think it is fair however to blame Republicans for some idiot sex addict in Provincetown who doesn't want to wear a condom.

So what is the answer then to keep HIV/Aids from spreading.

We all know that absitence isnt working to stop the spread. Then you have the "bug chasers" who wont wear condoms. And the people having breeding partys .......and these people know how to prevent the spread of Aids......but do it anyways. It just seems to me that we are never gonna get to the point of stopping the spread of HIV/Aids.

I think it is just safe sex burnout. People are sick and tired of being scared by HIV and they donīt want this virus to control humankind sexlife. In the seventies people started to enjoy free sex life and they want that back.

I take comments made over the internet, with a grain of salt.  People lie when discussing their sex life on the internet.

Barebacking over 500 guys in 3 months?  Just sounds like a stretch.  That's 3 different guys, every single day.  Or over 21 different guys every single week.  I just don't see someone being able to meet that many people, (interested in having bareback sex with them), much less having the time to have sex with all of them.

But who knows...

Yes, unprotected sex happens (everywhere and among all communities).  But I would imagine that it's mostly with people who serosort (i.e., poz with poz or neg with neg).  But then again, serosorting is not an exact science (hence hiv transmissions).
