  • Hi...
At least I have a summer vacation...
« on: December 30, 2013, 02:07:27 am »
I am a little lost about what to get my daughter for her sixteenth birthday next month. Luckily she told me what kind of cake she wants, so I can start working on that. I am just excited she is going to be sixteen. I keep getting sad at how much she has grown. I remember when she used to dance and sing to every commercial. One time when she was five a talent scout asked me to take her to an audition. I took her and she dance on the stage, but did not do as she was asked. I wasn't angry at all. I thought she was cute! Later in the week Disney called for her. I was told she was wanted because she was not trained like the rest of the kids at the audition.
I told my husband and we decided not to take her to the Disney representative due to the fact we want a child who is ours to raise.
Last week I went to a registration session at my school, and then I went on a tour of the campus. There were other future students there. We were given time to register for courses with the academic advisors. So I registered for spring. Then none of my courses were scheduled for the summer, so all I could do was make a plan for the fall semester. At least I get can my books next week.
The other thing is I had to change my program since it is not offered in the state I moved to. So I changed it to Healthcare Office. Which means instead of three years I only have this one year left. At the end of fall 2014 I will finish my program.
My husband is very supportive and has been going with me to some of the school appointments. In fact if it wasn't for him I would have forgotten to ask about my student web account. Which means I would've had to go back to the school again.
Things are working out now. Though I took a lot of work getting things together. I am so happy to be where I am at right now.
