So I'm pretty straight but lately i've been having stupid fantasies of giving and receiving HJ from a guy. So last night I posted an ad on CL asking if someone wanted to partake. Needless to say a stranger showed up. and we started pulling on each other, I quickly realized I wasn't into it at all he however was so I felt obliged to finish him off as he drove out to meet me. Mutual masturbation is not, never has been and never will be a risk for hiv infection. No way, no how. Not one person has ever been infected this way and you will not be the first.

Hiv is a fragile, difficult to transmit virus that is primarily transmitted INSIDE the human body, as in unprotected anal or vaginal intercourse where the virus never leaves the confines of the two bodies.

Once outside the body, small changes in temperature, and pH and moisture levels all quickly damage the virus and render it unable to infect. For this reason, mutual masturbation is NOT a risk as it takes place outside the body.

Here's what you need to know in order to avoid hiv infection:

You need to be using condoms for anal or vaginal intercourse, every time, no exceptions until such time as you are in a securely monogamous relationship where you have both tested for ALL sexually transmitted infections together.

To agree to have unprotected intercourse is to consent to the possibility of being infected with an STI. Sex without a condom lasts only a matter of minutes, but hiv is forever.

Have a look through the condom and lube links in my signature line so you can use condoms with confidence.

ALTHOUGH YOU DO NOT NEED TO TEST SPECIFICALLY OVER MUTUAL MASTURBATION, anyone who is sexually active should be having a full sexual health care check-up, including but not limited to hiv testing, at least once a year and more often if unprotected intercourse occurs.

If you aren't already having regular, routine check-ups, now is the time to start. As long as you make sure condoms are being used for intercourse, you can fully expect your routine hiv tests to return with negative results.

Don't forget to always get checked for all the other sexually transmitted infections as well, because they are MUCH easier to transmit than hiv. Some of the other STIs can be present with no obvious symptoms, so the only way to know for sure is to test.

I really appreciate the reply. I was googling it and was reading answers like "the risk of transmission is never absent during sexual contact with someone who is HIV+" so I was kind of freaking.

I feel a lot better now, I came inside afterwords and covered my hand with hand sanitizer and then scalded it with steaming hot water. Then I turned my focus on my poor manhood. It too got the hand sanitizer treatment, followed by soap, followed peroxide, followed by 80 proof vodka. that last one might actually produce a giggle when you picture a dumb young kid running around ass naked and looking for rubbing alcohol when it dawned on him that hand sanitizer might not have an effect on a virus, realizing there is none in the house, then pouring vodka all over himself in the middle of the kitchen. I swear if I had found lysol I would have been dosed in that to, probably to ill effect.


I thought I read somewhere that hiv could survive 24 hours outside the body and could only be killed by bleach. Is that an old misconception or am I remembering wrong?

It's an old misconception.

You did NOT have a risk. I hope you didn't burn yourself over this NO RISK situation. How needless.

Don't make the mistake of thinking that just because you're primarily heterosexual, that you're not ever going to be at risk for hiv infection. You need to wrap it up when you're having intercourse with the ladies too. Hiv is an equal opportunity infector. Remember that. It's not WHO you do, it's HOW you do it. WRAP IT UP!!!

Ok thank you, I appreciate your wisdom. I most certainly always use condoms when I have full on intercourse, I was just concerned about there being a small chance of transmission due to pre - cum.

Thanks for clearing that up for me, my peace of mind has been restored. Now I just have to get over the personal shame I feel for doing what I did. It definitely wasn't for me.
