Busted...lock this thread?
NB. Any advice about HIV is given in addition to your own medical advice and not intended to replace it. You should never make clinical decisions based on what anyone says on the internet but rather check with your ID doctor first. Discussions from the internet are just that - Discussions. They may give you food for thought, but they should not direct you to do anything but fuel discussion.

Anyone who continues to post excessively, questioning a conclusive negative result or no-risk situation, will be subject to a four week Time Out (a temporary ban from the Forums). The purpose of a Time Out is to encourage you to seek the face-to-face help we cannot provide on this forum.

Hello,

Not sure that I should be posting here, but will anyway. I typically post on the MedHelp forum, HIV Support (which is a misnomer, it should be named the HIV Anxiety Support forum, because that is what it really is). I believe that at least one of Kekelow's posts that was quoted here came from that forum, and it is one that I responded to. Now I feel like a bit of a sucker. Guess I should get out and about on the Web more often than I do.

Kekelow aside, and again, I am pretty sure this isn't the correct place to be doing this, but I wanted to say thanks to you guys for your help when I was going through my own ridiculous HIV anxiety situation. I call it ridiculous now, but when I was going through it, it felt anything but. However, Rod, Andy and Ann, you all helped me quite a bit, and I never came back and said thanks. That was an oversight on my part, and I want to correct it now. Your constructive and accurate advice helped me out quite a bit. And I appreciate you taking the time to offer it. You all have bigger things going on in your lives than the worries of some half-crazed hypochondriac, but you were kind enough to answer patiently each and every time I had a question. And for that: thank you. Finally, at long last, thank you.

I still come back and read through the forums from time to time, because I found that after I finally got over my own anxiety (with your gracious assistance, I might add), I am still fascinated by the whole subject. And it seems to me that you guys lead your lives with a quality of patience and giving that it would do well for others to emulate.

You guys take care of yourselves, and once again, thank you. And that's all.
