Just got back from voting
« on: January 29, 2008, 07:56:16 am »

Ed and I just got back home from our voting precinct. We did our duties !! Not that it matters that much as Florida isn't sending delegates. A couple of amendments to vote for also... I think there is going to be a good turnout in Florida today.

Will be watching to see your vote   ;D

I think as the convention gets near, someone(s) will push to
allow the delegates in anyway. They just did it to punish for
moving their date up.

Shit !!.....Now I got to make a trip to the doctors office. I received a notice in the mail that Aetna wants $610.00 dolllars from me. I just opened it up.

Apparently my doctors office sent my January blood test claim to Aetna, instead of Humana. I began Humana, On January 1st. Aetna was dicontinued December 31st,07 .

I mentioned to them specifically to make sure that send it to the right insurance company. They copied my new ID card, and still didn't get it right ! My doctors office messed up,   so I am out the door here in about 20 minutes to get that mess cleared up !! Shhheeeesss !!  :P

Ray, unless you have a lot of time on your hands. I would just call and tell the billing department to rebill it to the proper insurance company. If Aetna, paid it, I would call them and tell them where to send the bill. Let them work it out.  ;D

OK !!!  Got that all taken care of. I'm glad my doctors office is only a ten minute drive from where I live.  Their going to contact Quest diagnostics and give them the correct information, so quest can bill Humana !!

I did my civic duty yesterday here in Virginia, though our primary isn't for another two weeks, as I'll be on work-related travel then.

hehehe.... I even crossed party lines, something about a Mormon being more scary to voters than a woman or a non-white.

Well it's good you voted, even if it doesn't mean much this time around.  The Democratic race is getting pretty sad.  They'll probably butcher each other so much, whoever wins will have an uphill battle uniting the party (and attracting independents and moderate republicans).

I mailed off my NY absentee ballot a week ago.  I think the NY vote is Feb. 5th.

Cliff did you vote for "Rue Paul?" :D I think I'll put his name in as a write in candidate.  :D  I would rather watch his shows then what I've seen going on now.

Our primary isn't even until May.  Not sure when our early voting starts, but we always vote early.  We take the kids in with us and let them hit the buttons (that we show them to push).  Voting early avoids all the crowds and waiting.  There are 3 parking spots at the courthouse and 1 voting booth. :-\

Happy Voting!

Yes that was the nightmare of it all... the endless phone calls ENDLESS!

I got a personal xmas card from Bill and Hillary PLUS a personal phone call from old Bill himself.

Somewhere I read those xmas cards from the Clintons were selling on ebay for $160.

Back in the 1990's, Gofer from Love Boat tried to run for gov here.
He was a republican, but many demo's "crossed over" for a day  to vote
Gofer.
I was a republican for a day... (PS I think thats when I caught hiv...just kidding)

So we were bam boozled with phone calls from BOTH Demo's and Repub's.
Yes, John McCain has my number...   <help me...>   :o

We have Ron Paul signs everywhere, painted by stencil.  They all say... Who is Ron Paul?  Well if it is the same Ron Paul who used to run for the Presidency on the Green Party ticket... He is cousin of my old friend Dan Paul.  Dan Paul was an Eagle Scout and musician 20 years ago, I didn't vote for his cousin then and didn't vote for him this year either.  He does have tenacity  ;D Have the best day
