My latest and greatest numbers
« on: October 12, 2007, 04:53:40 am »
Hell, everybody else is doing it....I might as well too (thanks to some prodding from manchesteruk via PM   ;))

CD4 238

VL <50

13%

Equals my "best" CD4 since I started HAART back in February 2006 (originally was 13).   VL has been undetectable since first blood draw.  Highest percentage ever!

My Hepatitis A vaccine titer was "Not Detected," meaning that i'll have to get jabbed again on my next visit.  I had Hep B infection in the 80's, so I am immune to that now.

These labs were taken before last week however.....I missed an entire week of work due to respiratory infx along with wretched nausea/vomiting.  Couldn't get an appointment with my doctor, but everything worked out in the end. Speaking of.... open enrollment is going on right now, so i'm tweaking  my coverage a bit, so i'll be able to go to other medical facilities if I need to.

Otherwise....I've gotten myself to a good place where i'm not fixated on numbers anymore.  They are what they are -- no biggie.

Othernews.....Signing up for the AIDS Life Cycle meeting in Berkeley this Tuesday, my 44th birthday (yay!).....also, Ron and I are going on a "Bear" cruise this Xmas to Ensenada, Mexico.  Now, you should know that I could probably lead a tour group tomorrow on "Places JohnOso Has Gotten Pissy Drunk In Ensenada," so it's more of a "it's-the-journey-not-the destination" type of vacation.  But should be fun.

Hope everyone else is well.

As always, big furry hugs and take care of yourselves.

Johnoso, congratulations on those great numbers.  It sounds like you have an exciting vacation planned,  I have never been to Mexico.

Have a great birthday!

Looks like you have hit the trifecta: good numbers, AIDS LIFE CYCLE and a bear cruise!!!  Good for you!

Have a Happy Birthday!!

Looking good John.

The respiratory thing has been going around here. Nasty stuff, but it goes away eventually.

Have fun in Mexico. I want photos!

Just keep plugging away at those numbers.  That percentage will keep  getting better and better.

The cruise will be fun.  I think that's something we should all do together.  3 or 4 nights on a boat?  I could handle that.  Jan can gamble.  The rest of us can eat and drink and sleep.

The weather is lousy for a cold.  Drink plenty of fluids and stay warm.

say hi to ron...robert
