I am new to this forum, but decided to join in an effort to get some opinions/support. I was recently diagnosed back in September, after losing my virginity to a guy who did not know he was positive. I know right, who gets HIV after having sex for the first time? That about sums up my luck. Anyway, I started Biktarvy in early November, and havent experienced any side affects until now. Suddenly, my hair is falling out like crazy. especially when i shower. I am not sure if it is due to the stress of being diagnosed with HIV so recently, or if it is the medication itself but I am very concerned and dont know what to do. Has anyone else experienced this? I am a 22 year old female, for reference.
