Hi,
Do these herbs help in fight against hiv or say building immune system or help in improving the overall health of hivers.

Probably not as much as 8 hours of sleep every night and a low stress lifestyle:)) Or giving up tobacco, alcohol, etc:))  Or eating 145 grams of protein every day.

I am an old hippy who loves and greatly respects herbs and alternative health approaches but in my humble opinion, nothing is as good for HIVers as sleep and regularly taking our meds.  And meds only work if we don't trash our bodies.

Hey Angel,

I agree with Seadickrun. A healthy lifestyle is paramount to maintaining a productive - and enjoyable - life.

I also am a firm believer in using herbal products to assist my health. I take quite a few, actually.

But, one thing I always do is to run them by either my doctor or my pharmacist to check for any interactions.

I also make sure the doc has a complete and up to date list of everything I take: medications, vitamins, herbs, etc.

HUGS,

Mark
