Oral on female, and window period.

Hi All,
Thanks so much in advance for any help!

Late November I had a drunk incident with a sex worker. Protected oral on me and unprotected oral on her. I understand from these forums that both are very low risk but recently anxiety is getting the best of me with a constant sore throat/coughing.

I tested negative at eighty-eight days, would that be seen as completely concluded?

The general recommendation is to test six weeks past potential exposure than at 13 weeks past potential exposure for confirmation of the six weeks results.

I would think that testing "negative" 88 days past exposure, which is, essentially, 13 weeks past exposure, would be "conclusive."

Additionally, performing unprotected oral sex on a female is such a low risk activity for contraction of the HIV that it is virtually "zero" risk.  However, it could be a risk for other STD's/STI's.

The protected oral sex performed upon you, of course, is not a risk.

Check with your healthcare provider, if you want further assurances.

You should be testing as routine at least yearly.
What you posted about did not warrant specific testing.

Move on and test as normal when next due.
