Pete wishes MTD a speedy recovery.

Have you contacted the authorities about this?  They could kill the next person they assault.

Matty, my dear comrade,

I wish you a swift recovery and, in the meantime, really good pain meds. Having been there myself, I would add, try not to let what happened get to you.

Whether you believe in it or not, I am sending positive, healing energy your way.

I'm not sure which outrages me more:  Matty getting assaulted, or the perpetrators getting away.

I hope you make a full and quick recovery, Matty.

Mtd -

Glad to hear you are going to be okay.  Enjoy the morph while you can, and don't worry - left-handed (at least for some things) becomes second nature really quick!

Getting bashed sucks (oh, do I know that!), but you received great advice earlier in this thread - don't go out alone late at night if you don't have to.  We gotta watch each others' backs!

Dear Matty,

There are no words that can truly describe how totally outraged I am that this happened to you! The fact that there were 3 of them and they had to hit you from behind. What low life cowards!!!! I hope that one day they get what they really deserve! And I hope it is slow and painful!

I will keep you in my thoughts and say a prayer for a speedy recovery...but in the meantime enjoy the pain meds.

Much Love

Matty I am so sorry you had to go through this...   Glad to here you are on the mend.   I was wondering if they had video surveillance at the terminal and can get mug shots to the police for prosecution??  Assult with deadly force is a hefty crime up north..

Best wishes for your arm to heal up,

Oh no not my Matty!   I think we should all band together and kick some homophobe ass.  This is not the first time this has happened to people I consider family and well this site is considered my family.  Every time this happens it just tears me up.  It is senseless and still proves how far we still have to go. Matty I am so glad you are ok for the most part.  Please keep us up and take care of yourself.

Jesse, I can't let your use of the term "breeder" pass uncommented upon. In its way it's as bigoted and as offensive as "faggot" when that word is used as an epithet. It is a dismissal of a lot of people based simply on what? Sexual preference, right?

And the implication is those who are identified that way are some lower form of being.

Words are important and they have both the power to heal as well as to hurt. Please don't that term or any other like it on this site. Although many members here are clearly openly gay there are also others who are in fact what you have called "breeders," and they deserve to be treated respectfully.

Thanks for your cooperation in the future about this request.

I quivered at the thought of the pain in the arm. Ouch! News like this get me pissed. It just makes me feel like breaking one of those thugs neck. I guess my bad temper and sob looking face when I'm mad would scare away any bashing bandit around. I swear, if this ever happened to me, the person would be very injured, probably more than I. I'd find the guy and pay back. Sorry to say this, but that's me. I don't trust police for these things, much less the ones in Puerto Rico. >:(  Get better "Matty from the dark..." 8)

Again Matty the Damned thanks all of you for the comforting posts. :-*

I don't like the Police because like many queers I've had bad experiences with them. I would die before I'd turn to the Filth for help. They are The Enemy.

Also this is not the first time that I've been bashed for being gay. I'm sure many gays here (especially those of a particular age) would have had the same experience. Rest assured I will deal with this at the appropriate juncture.

Matty the Damned has a long long memory.

I haven't told my family what happened, my mum and dad think I "slipped" in the rain. For various reasons I'm gonna keep it that way. My parents and other relatives know I'm gay and are cool with it, but I keep my queer life and my family life separate.

It's the way these things are and I'm too old to change now.

As for the arm, well it hurts like 10 bastards but grossest thing is when the ends of the fractured bone grate together. It's just revolting, really the most awful sensation.

Kisses,

MtD

Ouch, Matty!  That is an unspeakable horror that I can only imagine half-wit hooligans performing on another person.  I do hope that you mend quickly - both physically and mentally. I do image the physical mending to be quicker, however.

Here's to your recovery and to the half-wits' journey through what I hope is a hellish future for them...

Oh Matty-
I know bones rubbing together is painful as hell.  When I had a touch of the wasting syndrome 14 years ago, I got so thin that my bones rubbed together.  I was in constant pain.  My doctor gave me Dilaudids.  I guess Morphine would work as well.  Hope you heal well and quickly.

Hey MTD..hope all is healing.  I've got two broken bones in my face and a cute little scar in the back of my head from 3 gay bashings in the last 20 years .  Fuckers are everywhere I guess.  I thought living in Texas, USA was bad for this sort of thing, but it seems everyone must keep a careful watch in this world no matter what their particular situation.  And I'll admit for the record that all three times I had had a few cocktails and/or beers.  Seems like we should be able to do that like 99% of the rest without too many worries???   :O

Rest well.

Alot of train stations in Australia have surveillance cameras these days, i just hope this was one of those with them, make it alot easier to catch the little bastards.

Glad to see you're alive and well, hope it wasn't your wanking arm!

HI Matty
I hope things have calmed down a bit by now. Sometimes I'm really embarrassed to live in  a world where such hatred thrives!  Take care of you Honey!

As much as matty and I don't get along it's horribly infuriating for me to read this thread, and I hope that once his recovery is going better that he fully prosecutes these guys if they are caught.  (edit) I see that he's not going to the police with this... oh, well that's your call.  I understand fully a personal loathing for police, at least somewhat.

I was away from the board when this happened so please excuse my tardy posting.  Please indulge yourself with all the morphine you can score and know that Philicia sends her very best wishes.
