Do I Have HIV? / Need help - breast milk and penis
« Last post by sergio86 on Today at 04:37:04 am »
Hi, I have a question about thoughts that are troubling me. I was on a nuru massage several times. What is the risk in that situation - contact breast milk with exposed part of penis during breast penis massage ? I am unsure if that happens but I would like to know if I should go for a testing. I know that there is no risk in situation when someone is licking breast but what in this case? Thank you in advance for fast
 response.

HIV is transmitted by unprotected anal/vaginal sex or by sharing injection needles.

You did NOT need to test as you had NO risk.
Unless your situation included having unprotected sex or shooting up drugs, you didn't have any risk of HIV. No testing was even warranted so of course that negative test is conclusive.

Please don't ask again; just reread my response. ;)

Thank you so much so you believe:

- there was no possibility of transmission even if there was blood on the gloves and
- there is no need for further testing. By the way, 4th gen on the 26th day is considered conclusive given my situation?

Thanks again

HIV is transmitted by unprotected anal/vaginal sex or by sharing injection needles.

You did NOT need to test as you had NO risk.

Have a great day,
Michael

Reducing Your HIV risks:
With no exceptions, use condoms correctly and consistently for anal or vaginal intercourse
Talk to a healthcare provider about PrEP as another layer of protection

Get tested yearly for HIV and other STIs.
If you don’t use condoms and/or PrEP, test more frequently

Some sexual practices described as safe in terms of acquiring HIV still pose a risk for other more easily acquired STIs. It is possible to show no signs or symptoms from an STI so testing is the only way to know.

Get tested at least yearly for STIs, including but not limited to HIV, and more frequently if condomless intercourse occurs.

What’s the ONLY way to know if you’ve been infected by HIV or an STI?
Get tested.

Do I Have HIV? / Hand to Gloves Contact and HiV Test
« Last post by happycheetah900 on Yesterday at 07:54:46 am »
Greetings there,

I was on a flight and at the end of the flight, the flight attendant started collecting food boxes and coffee cups while wearing gloves so when I handed him my cup I accidentally touched his gloves with my bear hand so I was concerned if there was blood or other bodily fluids from the other passengers on his gloves and that got transferred to my hand. I ended up doing 4th Gen lab test at 26 days after this event and came back negative. Shall I consider this behind me and stop worrying. Your thorough answer will certainly calm my anxiety.

Thanks

Do I Have HIV? / Re: Risk assessment

Hiya.

I have read your post three times, you had zero HIV risk from the visiting the brothel and getting a massage, move on with your life.

As for sex with your wife, I'll mention the same thing I always do when someone says they are in a relationship;

If you engage in condomless sex with your partner, you are obviously at risk of acquiring HIV. In relationships, condomless sex is often based on trust or past test results; however, this does not prevent HIV, so if condomless sex does occur, you should consider testing more frequently.

Here's what you need to know to reduce your HIV risks:
Use condoms for anal or vaginal intercourse correctly and consistently, with no exceptions. Consider talking to your healthcare provider about PrEP as an additional layer of protection against HIV and get vaccinated against HPV, Hepatitis A & B.

Keep in mind that some sexual practices described as safe in terms of acquiring HIV still pose a risk for other easier-acquired STIs. So please do get tested at least yearly for STIs, including but not limited to HIV, and more frequently if condomless intercourse occurs.

Also, note that it is possible to have an STI and show no signs or symptoms; testing is the only way to know.

Kind regards

Jim

Do I Have HIV? / Risk assessment

Hi,

Thanks for the work you do here.

I have read many posts in this section but I would still like a personalised response to ease my concerns.

Last week I received a massage while having two abrasions on my body (on my knee and elbow), the size of a strawberry. Both abrasions were around 6-day old and at the time of the massage they were in the process of healing and no longer bleeding. However, the skin was not fully repaired yet. The masseuse used oil on both of these abrasions. I did not see any blood during or after the massage.

My worries come from the fact that this was a massage parlour where VERY LIKELY sexual services were also offered. As I am married I felt really guilty.

1. Is there any possibility I could have contracted HIV because of HIV-contaminated fluid coming into contact with my not-fully healed abrasion? Let’s say she had blood or other fluids on her hand.

2. Based on this event, should I get tested for HIV before resuming sexual activity with my wife?

Thanks again.
