Thanks Charles...

I wasn't going to venture out to buy a paper today, so thanks for the heads-up. I definitely want a copy!

Cheers,
Ann

HIV is certainly character-building. It's made me see all of the shallow things we cling to, like ego and vanity. Of course, I'd rather have a few more T-cells and a little less character. Randy Shilts

Thank you also, Charles.  We have had a series on the Cape radio (non-hiv) called 'hidden stories/hidden lives' which sought to briefly bring into our lives the lives of those around us whom we, too, might never encounter as well as a series, The Two Cape Cods, Hidden Poverty on the Cape, which reminded us, again not with hiv/AIDS, that what we see misses those who are barely hanging onto house and home.  Like the person who posted here in the forums that he couldn't afford the medications many of us are going on and on about, or the person who lost his computer and so the connection between us.  Not only do we have the extremes in so many ways between the haves, the haves with AIDS in this country versus the have nots, the havenots with AIDS in other countries, but we have all the gradations in between.  If I really stretched this out, I would bring in as well those for whom the miracle drugs don't work.  Yes, they can get them, but they simply do not work.  How all too easy it is to lose sight of all of these people.  Again, thanks! Win
