i had a unprotected encounter 42 days ago. 5 days later i noticed for 20 minutes i felt nausea. not knowing window period i went for test. negitive. im going thursday...any way i have noticed my veins are noticeably more blue...my skin will have a white apperrance in spots no more than an inch here and there that last for 45 seconds..and i have had a red dot on my chest the size of an eraser for 39 days..is this ars? i posted another part as a reply sorry.......can some one please help........ive been checking .....7 dayz is too long for retest....

Nothing you are describing is in any way suggestive of ARS or HIV-specific.

Since you had unprotected intercourse you do need to get tested. You can do that initially at 6 weeks since by then all but the very smallest number of those who are going to seroconvert will have done so. Assuming you test negative, you need to confirm that result with a final test at 13 weeks. If you test negative at 6 weeks, the likelihood is you will continue to test negative.

i have been freaking out lately.....alot . and it seems like an eternity till thursday when i get retested....all my mind does is think......there have been other "symptoms". joint pains ,like in my left knee, its had pain that lasts for about 1 minute then goes away. i have not had a feaver, headaches, or muscleaches. but my lymph node on back of neck has been slightly swollen for a week or so. approx 1/2 an inch. i have had semi runny bowls for a few weeks( not continuous). sometimes yellow. i have not had diarrea tho. i have been reading alot about this lately,..every day, and it seems like every thing i read scares me like" is that what this is". this has consumed my mind...i work in a kitchen and it gets hot in there, but i at times have noticed that my arms appear to have heat rash which does not last long at all, but i makes me think this is hiv rash......i did notice a few days after possible exposure my groi area kinda hurt for a few days also ...but went away.. i know a test is the only way to tell ....but i need some kind of peace or something i am stressing out here .....are these possible symptoms?

I am not sure what to say. Symptoms or lack thereof are absolutely NOT in indicator of HIV infection. Only a test taken 12 weeks past your exposure can be considered definitive. As Andy indicated, a test at the 6 week period is a VERY strong indicator, even if it is not definitive.

are blemishes that i read about that are red pink brown or purple,  do they look like vericose veins? if not what do they resemble?

The symptoms you're complaining about come and go - but the symptoms sometimes  associated with  hiv seroconversion do NOT come and go. Nothing you're reporting sounds even remotely like hiv seroconversion.

What, exactly, do you mean by "unprotected encounter"? You may be worrying over nothing.

thank you miss ann..and im sorry. the unprotected encounter was i was receiving oral and then put it in her bottom. all without a condom, i had it in about 30 seconds. i know time does not matter.this is why along with what i am experiancing in "symptoms" i am stresssing.

No matter what your mind is scaring you with to the contrary, none of your so-called symptoms are in any way HIV specific. Unfortunately right now you are clearly misinterpreting anything you notice physically as yet another sign of HIV. All mistaken of course.

Receiving oral is not a risk for HIV. Period.

Your risk was a single time and brief. Your hysteria notwithstanding, I do continue expect you to test negative. While waiting to test you need to make an effort to focus your attention on other matters in your life. And dont' bother saying you are too upset to do that, because I can tell you that kind of response is not going to fly here.

The odds are way in your favor that you will ultimately test negative. Now, get on with your life.

so i tested negetive at 12 weeks....is that conclusive? any ways thank you all  for your help

You are conclusively hiv negative. You do not have hiv.

Use condoms for anal or vaginal intercourse, correctly and consistently, and you will continue to avoid hiv infection. It really is that simple!!!
