Looking for HIV doctor in Central NJ or NJ- Can anyone help?

Can anyone help?
A very kind person on this site just recommended I post to find a doctor in NJ that specializes in HIV infected people

 
I live in central NJ but I drive and can travel if recommended doctor is not closeto my home

Just found out deeply depressed not sleeping and  almost desperate

Kind responce mail to my other topic in forum did  help

AIDS MEDS doesn't make doctor referrals. But you might call either Callen-Lordre 212 271 7200 or GMHC  212 807 6655. Someone there ought to be able to help you.

Just after after a positive diagnosis it's very natural to have all kinds of feelings and to be overwhelmed. But gradually things are going to get better and you're going to see that life is going on. You're always welcome here to ask questions and to talk about anything that's on your mind.

You can check the website for the American Academy of HIV Medicine (aahivm.org) and do a search for doctors by location using zip codes. All the doctors who are members of the organization have experience treating HIV.

You might look into some of these organizations listed here, which I found from the providers list of a central New Jersey Ryan White Planning Council page:

If you don't have money concerns then what Inchling stated about finding a provider with a zip code might be fine, but if you have any other needs you might do some on line research with these organizations, and of course they're in your area instead of having to trek up to NYC or down to Philadelphia.

Also, you should be aware of Hyacinth which is the largest AIDS Service Organization for NJ with six regional offices:  http://www.hyacinth.org

I believe their main office is in New Brunswick/Middlesex Co.  Perhaps you can learn of some "real life" support groups there while searching for an HIV specialist.  You should consider yourself fortunate to live in a very populated area which should allow you to find all sorts of services for HIV infected individuals.
