i have been with my boyfriend for 5 years. He has been HIV positive  over a year and is undectable. He has been for meds since finding out.  I am negative .We have not had anal sex in over year just oral. I know reading some of the articles stating there is no transmission when someone is undectable and on meds. i really want to give him all of me.. just confused.. any suggestion?

Hi

I moved you post, please do not post in the living with HIV section.
The only sections you should be posting in is HIV prevention here and in "Someone I care about" section.

Personally I will always recommend condoms as safer sex, PrEP would be overkill if you ask me but in my signature are links to PrEP if you need them.

Now your BF is UD well I still would recommend condoms however TaSP (Treatment as prevention) is pretty excellent when it comes down to reducing HIV transmission risks.

For your information/education:
Treatment-as-prevention (TasP) this is use of antiretroviral (ARV) medication to decrease the risk of HIV transmission. Treatment-as-Prevention (TasP)
HIV TasP

This has been studied at length and to mention 1 of the studies as an example the "Partner" study is a major study looking at the chances of transmitting HIV with an undetectable viral load, there have been no transmissions between either gay or heterosexual serodiscordant partners.

Partner study
transmission-zero

More recent: Zero, No Linked HIV Transmissions in PARTNER Study After Couples Had Sex 58,000 Times Without Condoms: Click here for more information

Finally the The Swiss statement reads "An HIV-infected person on antiretroviral therapy with completely suppressed viraemia (“effective ART”) is not sexually infectious, i.e. cannot transmit HIV through sexual contact.”
