Dear All

Can I have idea with Risking cross infection? ( I meam relationship between hiv+ with partner hiv+)

This is an evergreen but valuable topic...

If you are both have viral loads of <50 copies then the risk is practically zero. If you have the same type of HIV aswell, I mean precisely the same strain,  have viral loads of <50 copies, then it deffo is zero.

The risk increases as (1) your type of virus differs (2) your viral loads get higher. If you are on meds and  non-adherent there is a very small chance (perhaps) of passing on a resistant type on HIV which may compromsie your partner's treatment.

If you're off treatment then it's mainly point 1 that's important.

Matt- Thank you, I just poz inMar09  but sometime it's doesnt fair to have partner is he hiv-
However I just want to ensure and study more if I found some hiv+guy and want into relationship with me   :-*
