Back home and all I wanna do is eat!!!!!!
« on: September 24, 2006, 09:56:48 am »
I'm back in Texas and all I'm doing is eating all the things I miss.....

Buttermilk biscuits
Cornbread
Soul Food (especially oxtails and greens)
Sonics (tater tots with a Route 44 size Cherry Limeade)
Texas BBQ (Ribs, cole slaw)
Cakes and Pies (yellow cakes and pecan pies)
Stuffed Chicken
Mexican food (Mole,Chorizo, Chimichanga, tripe soup, posole)
Pankcakes
Grits

My parents got a new dog for my neice and nephew and as soon as I walked in the door, SHE BIT ME.  Now I have this bruise and it still hurts (after an entire day).  Damn mutt.

Hi Cliff

Glad you a made it home ok..and obviously with a huge appetite.. :D

The only things on your list that I've tried are:

Pancakes, stuffed chicken, and pecan pie..the rest, well it's all foreign to me.. ;)

Eat up. you won't get that kind of food back in the UK...and enjoy your time back home witht the family.

Hugs
Jan
