Can someone please help me put my pic in my profile...lol...Im southern hillbilly and this Pc stuff just boggles my brain..Any help would be greatly appreciated

just click o n the long button profile then under modify profile it's the 2nd choice "Forum Profile Information"

it seems too wide just from 1st glance. try to crop out the waves. see how my avatar is skinny. the system seems to prefer that

If it is rejected, you'll need to resize it.  I use HP Photosmart, which has a "web/blog" size option, and i found that much easier than anything else.  There are also websites where you can do that for free, but someone else will have to chime in to mention those.

it's a png file that's about 250k in data size... I think the max size is about 100k in data... let me crop and reduce and we'll see

here, try this one... i converted it to jpg and reduced the size to 4kb :)

just copy and save the picture to your computer and then upload like you've been trying.


2 different versions for your avatar pleasure.

when i first saw ur pic i thought u were a brotha (blk) :P until i saw tha whole pic  its too dark try to lighten it up a lil. even tho u arent a brotha ur still a cutie ;)

www.photobucket.com is free, and it has easy options to resize for different applications (an avatar option, a forum page option, etc.)

Looking good mister and welcome to the forums.  The 90 by 90 rule will get you everytime.  Don't worry you're not the only person who has had
trouble getting their pics up to regulation.
