Ok, I have no idea how to post all the past threads, or if we're even doing that now.  If everyone will now post over here, I'll ask Ann to lock the other one.

Way to go, mum!  I like the title of the thread also.  Oh, I don't know exactly how to post the other threads either, but I don't think we really need to.

Cristy, happy birthday sweetie.  I hope it's a really special one.

I took about an hour nap.  It's 79 outside right now, but I don't have the air on.  I usually don't put that on unless it gets into the middle-upper 80's.  So anyway, the warm air made me tired.  I went to my doctor's, picked up the script and took it to CVS to get filled.  When the cashier rang it up, she looked at my receipt and told me I had $5 CVS "extra-care bucks."  That's where you "earn" $5 by spending so much in one seasonal quarter and you can spend the $5 on anything (except alcohol, tobacco and prescriptions) at CVS.  This week, they have Doritos buy 1 get 1 free, so that's what I got.  I now have something to munch on while watching Jeopardy.  My mum used to play that with me over the phone every night that I wasn't in school.  I wish she were still around to play it. :'(  Nothing fills the place of my mum.

Queen, I'm anxiously awaiting to hear how court went today.  I hope everything turned out o.k.  Did you hear anything about the house yet?  I've got my legs crossed right now.

OK ladies, I hope you all have a good evening.  If I'm not back later, I'll talk to you all tomorrow.

Evening Everyone---

Sorry for my late reply but today has been a very busy day and I am dead on my feet. My day started at 7am when I got up and considering that I am not a morning person, I was grouchy. I went to court with the roomie. They granted the PFA for three years and there is also a stipulation in it that he can't harass me either. The asshole really thought he was going to get out today. We have to go back to court next Wednesday for the asshole violating the PFA then we will be allowed to play the messages he left at my roomie's job and the emails he was sending. So, I doubt he will get out then either but the most time he can get is 6 months. Come to find out, he had been harassing our ASO too so he may not even be able to get assistance through them now. He cussed out my case manager, the receptionist who works there and his own case manager.

Mum--I almost screamed when I saw the title of your thread. It reminds me of that dreadful Barney song and I can't stand Barney. I'd rather do the Teletubbies and I am not fond of them.

As for the house, we went to the office today to inquire some more but the lady we needed to speak to wasn't there. She did call my reference and my one roomie's reference then she called me and said that she still has more applications to go through that she would get back to us as soon as possible. So, it's not a no and I am still trying to keep my hopes up.

I would write more but I am just exhausted.....Happy Birthday, Christy!!!!

Good grief we have totally slacked with posting the thread history LOL I had to go back to April to find a list. I changed the roman numerals to regular numbers because to be frank the numbers are getting so big it takes mental effort for me to figure out what XXVII and other numerals are in numbers. LOL its just easier to do regular numbers.

Queen - It must feel great to take care of that bucket of stupid head roomies ex bf. I hope he learns his lesson not to mess with you both.

Mum - I like the the subject line. It made me think about Barney also but for me it was a good thing because Barney always makes me think about my boys when they where little. I watched Barney so many times I could puke but my big boy Aaron s an adult now so I'm kinda over it and any time I get to think about my sweet baby boy Justin while he wasn't sick is a good thing.

Betty - You mentioned Jeopardy. Have you noticed all the game shows on TV here lately in the evening now that the season has changed? I've caught myself watching Family Feud a few times.

Hello Everyone! Nothing much to report here...I guess no news is good news right?

Someone earlier asked me about Kindergarten and I don't remember who...but I  will try to answer it. Please keep in mind this is my first experience with this grade. I teach 5th grade so needless to say there is a big difference! As far as being held back in Kinder...it can happen but it is up to the parent. The teacher can recommend it but can't force it. Kindergarten is not required by the state. This summer school is just "enrichment" which is ridiculous. A couple of the kids are really bright and the rest are pretty low. They are 6 and already they don't want to do their work or pay attention. The irony is that this is the reason they are here. How many times can I go over the short a vowel sound....??? LOL! One kid I swear belongs in special ed...He also has a speech problem and I cannot understand a word he says.  :( Ok...enough about that! Oh, I do want to add something...I truly love what I do and love being with the kids. Most of this is just venting...please don't think I hate the kids. Personality is hard convey through posts, you know?  :) :)

On a different note...
My entire family has been out of town and it has been weird. My mom is in Texas, my dad is in Florida, and my sister is on her senior trip to Cancun. I have been keeping an eye on my dad's house since he has been gone. I talked to my sister today and she is SO ready to come home tomorrow. She is totally enjoying the clubbing but is ready to leave. Her friend's mother was supposed to pick them all up but she wants me to come get her. LOL! I guess she needs a break from her BFFs. I am going to be staying with her at my dad's house until he gets back next week. When she found out about she wasn't too thrilled, but today she wanted to make sure I would be staying with her. She makes me laugh. She is 18 but thinks she is 25 until she is missing us....You know the age, "I don't need anyone. I'm independent!" Yeah right...LOL

Anyways...that's all for now. Talk to you all soon! :) :)

Winn, math was never my strongs suit..lol..and I checked and double checked to make sure I got the number right and i still got it wrong!  oh, well, as they say, "it's only a number" :P

Vyv, I don't take any of your posts as saying you don't love the kids.  It's kind of like loving the cake and hating the calories.  There's so much "stuff" involved in teaching that is totally overwhelming and has nothing to do with the kids except that they are the ones sitting there.  I truly understand, believe me.

Queen, just another hurry up and wait with the house.  But, you're right, you haven't been told "no".  Or, as my oldest says, "I don't hear no fat lady singing!"  Just hang in there and try to get some sleep.

*YAWN*  I can't believe it's after midnight and I'm still awake.  I even took 2 Benedryl for my allergies which usually knocks me out in under an hour.  We're watching Macgyver on DVD - I just love that man ;D.  I managed to get my laundry washed, hung out, and folded without the rain.  It's about time.  I finished the craft room and the downstairs.  Now "all" I have left is to re-organize the office / school room.  I think I'll wait on those..lol..the mess isn't going anywhere.

Ok, ladies, I'm falling asleep, the words are blurring, and I'm not sure what I'm typing anymore.  I think I fell asleep somewhere in this post, so if it doesn't make sense, sorry.  Just figure it out the best you can.

Sweet dreams, my darlins!

Everyone One Hello,

Its another beautiful sunny day here Im at work till  4:30pm ..Adam my son sends you all a wram hug :). this week he started crawling..its so amazing seeing each day how fast he is growing.

Bettytacy-   hope your keeping your head up girl!

Mum-   How did you sense that.. I just think Queen Latifahs  great to tell you the truth and she is among the actresses I adore, hahahah I do look like her in many ways..

Queen- guess your keeping it real...I once had a nutcase bothering me online I just blocked him instantly...most weirdos like that are dispeakable...whenever we run into them gilrs we just report them as spasm. I registered myself at POZ and a guy sent me a mail..and welcomed me for a chat at yahoo msn : when we started a conversation he just wrote he can sense Im a fake and all nasty things before I got a chace even to write a word..I was like ..heh I havent said a word and your the one who clicked me you have no right to judge me ok. It really pissed me off..havent opened Poz since it really got to me. .I am very sensitivet its  a pity people use these sites to let out there anger on someone they hardly know...and others go to the extreme for sexchats ..which I dont tolerate.

Wini- Billy has my prayers he has to know we all are not here forever its like a phase were passing through may he have the strength to accept the situation ..My both parents passed away when I was very young ..whenever I think of the good things my parents did to me and the moments I had with them I know deep down there in a speacial place.

Cjc--May you have many healthy and happy years to come-Happy Birthday!

Jshort- Hope your having a nice day ..its great knowing you sons well I wish I could test my Son even now but the Doc says with him still having my antibodies it may test positive and frustrate me more its better we wait till one one year when he will be having his owns so that we be sure..guess I will have to hang in there ..what freaks me out is he didnt take the meds for six weeks just one single 200mg nevirapine drop..the Doc reasures me the meds I was taking helped reduce the risks. Im praying and hoping for the best.

Ladies its getting pretty hectic here at work catch you all later........

Morning ladies,

Queen, I'm glad the asshole didn't get off.  Hopefully he'll get more next week.  I'm still hoping for the house for you.

Wendy, I've always watched Jeopardy at night.  I think it must be on at different times in different states.  I did catch an episode of Family Feud the other day, but it was on during the day.  We must be on different airwaves. :)

Viv, when I was your sister's age, I felt the same way she does.  Doesn't everyone that age?

Cristy, fess up, gf.  How old are you?

Mum, usually you've posted by now.  You must have been tired last night.

Mahalia, welcome to our family.  We're really a good lot.  I've been diagnosed HIV+ since 1989.  There were many rough times, but they know so much more than they used to; I'm sure you'll be around at least another 20 years.  Just jump right in here with us.

Latifah, well, you just give Adam a big hug for me!  He's crawling already, aye?  Aren't kids amazing.

I got up a little late for me today.  But that's alright.  I have nothing to do today, except deep condition my hair.  I think my hormones changed and that's the reason it's so dry.  When I started Depo it got really, really soft, but just in the last month it's gotten dry.  I haven't changed shampoos or conditioners, so it's not that.

My bff's son is graduating (high school, sort of) next weekend.  He's at culinary school, but he's taken enough high school courses to be able to graduate.  This is a huge accomplishment for him.  He's got Tourette's, extremely bipolar, other things I can't remember.  I've known him since he was 5 or 6.  My bff has invested huge amounts of time into him, and it's starting to pay off.  I'm so proud of him.  So, I'm going to be going to his graduation.  My bff wants me to go to her house Friday night, spend the night and go with her and her mum Saturday.  I might do that.  I suppose Alex could take care of my cat.

I really don't have anything else to report right now.  I'll be back later.

Latifah, Reading your post made me jump out of my seat!!! Of course your stressed they haven't tested your son yet!!!!!  If you dont mind me asking where do you live? My son was tested from the time he was born. They used a different test, not an antibody test because of course he will have my antibodies. they test for the actual virus, not the antibodies. My son was also on AZT for 6 weeks after he was born. There are ways to find out your sons status now and I urge you to look into it more. I am more then willing to help in any way I can. If he's neg you have piece of mind, if he's poz you can begin a treatment plan to ensure the best life you can for him...

Ok now that i ranted and raved about Latifahs son (sorry for my moment of insanity) how are you ladies today?

Queen- Ive delt with crazy men before, had an order of protection against my ex. Its such a pain in the ass. I dont get why people cant just move on. I wish you guys the best,

Betty- enjoy your day. its nice to have nothing to do sometimes, relax and take advantage of it.

Mum- reading about the things that go on in your home remaind me so much of my home and my kids. Its often chaos, but a good chaos if that makes sense.

To all the other ladies I missed I hope you all have a wonderful day.

As for me, nothing much going on here. I woke up exausted again. So im dragging my ass today. Nothing much to do but housework and laundry. Maybe I can find some time to myself to relax a bit later on. Its supposed to be a beautiful day and I need some sun in the worst way. I look pale. Hopefully I can get out for a little while today. on that note its time to get the kids showered and dressed for the day. I'll be back later on.

Morning Ladies---

What a difference some sleep makes. Nothing going on today, so I am going to take it easy.I was suppose to go visit my son but I was just too tired. I am going to get him a card today since I have to go to the post office to see about this money order getting tracked. I got the tires changed on the car yesterday, just something that had to be done in order to pass inspection which I hope to get done tomorrow. So, I may have some transportation at last.

Latifa-- You don't know me yet, I always keep it real. But that's just me since being poz, I really live by the statement that "life is too short" and I don't have time for games, drama or anything negative. Welcome to the forums.

Jshort- yeah, I don't get why people can't move on either. I understand how being hurt feels but damn. But the ex amazed me because he was literally a control freak. My roomie couldn't have anything w/o his permission.

Keeping--Congrats on the great numbers. You're on Atripla, right?

That's it for me, I'll check in later.

Morning ladies-

Mum- Nice job with the title! I can't stand Barney either but always since that song with my kids.  The ones that really drive me bonkers are Veggie Tales, they all have really good story ideas but the voices drive me nuts.  I'm jealous you got your craft room done, I still need to move everything out of the old office so I can get it painted for my daughter BUT I have no where to put the stuff that is in the office.  I guess I will be donating a lot of stuff in the near future.  Around here though even the second hand stores are getting expensive, they charge like 8 bucks for a pair of jeans, I think that is totally missing the point but I guess they have to make money too.  I hope you are feeling better.

Betty-  I didn't realize you had a cat. I think I can answer about 5% of the questions on jeopardy, LOL, needless to say I suck big time.  I hope you have a nice time if you decide to stay at your friends house.

Keeping- Great job on your numbers, I am so happy for you!!!

LOL.  I am LMAO off.  The poor Jehovah witness lady that always stops here just came by and she heard my dog barking and she was holding our outside door closed for dear life.  Thankfully that made her not want to come in.

Queen- I hope you hear some good news about the house.  Didn't you say you had section 8?  A lot of times the landlords look at that as guaranteed money so that might give you a step up.

Christy- Happy Birthday, I hope you are planning to do something for yourself.

Win- How are you feeling?  I totally agree with using just numbers, Roman numerals are like a foreign language to me.  I think it was on your last thread, you posted a pic of coleous, elepant ears, something? I forgot to comment on them, they looked really cool, I love your backyard.  Are those the ones that get really tall?

Moon- I hope you and Cheech are doing well and your job search is paying off.

Latifah- Just wait your son will be crawling before you know it, that is such a fun age when they figure out how to do things and look like little weeble wobbles on thier legs.

I kept the kids home from preschool today and I don't have much except for the endless cleaning.

When my youngest cut his finger and I had to take him to the ER, he and I were practicing saying "Octopus" while we were there.  He must have seen one at school and kept saying something like o-pu-pu-pus. So he now randomly busts out(he just did it now and will do it about 5 more times today) with OCT-TA-PUS with a huge grin on his face. What a nut. Yesterday, on the way home from school I was blessed with a chorus of " Goodbye, farewell to you my friend" all the way home. It is so cute when they all sing together.  It is such a bummer when they start pronouncing everything the way it should be. Friend was coming out "fwend"

I hope everyone has a great day!!

Snow

Oh crap. Jeez my mind is going too fast this morning. I ment to say hello to mahalia  and welcome to the ladies area.

Snow I have no clue how big they will get LOL I just know that the container is too small to hold all the roots going on in there when I was trying to plant the caladiums. I'll get a bigger one eventually. I'd have done it already if I wasnt so cheap.

I'm feeling ok right now. I've chilled out in the time it took me to make the picture up there. LOL I must be hormonal or something my mind was racing this morning and filling out a time sheet I got pissed thinking about an event on the timesheet.
I cant remember if I told you gals about that or not. Anywho I've had a loud argument with a staff lady at Harold's older brother's nursing home twice this month. I seem to recall telling someone on here that I dont respond very well to anyone talking quick or with a tone to me.  ;D
I'm ok now. Healthwise I'm doing good. I still get the low grade fevers and that is old. hate that. <shugs> nothing I can do about it aside from taking medication to bring the fever down. But otherwise just plain ole regular Wendy stuff.

I'll make it or I'll drag anyone else around me kicking and screaming LMAO

OMG, to think I missed all of Thread 37!  So sorry, GFs!  A lot has been happening.

I had a GI scare the week of 6/9 but am fine now.  GI doc said no need for scoping up or down and I told my primary that yest so he would finally stop pushing the issue.

My counts are up (see signature below)

Iceman and I are really doing well.  Today is 8 months 8 MONTHS!!

I am off work until Monday.

Cheech got shaved down yest and looks like a 50 lb chiuhuahua (pics to follow soon)

Work is changing.  Us 4 girls in Accounting will be doing every role (AP, AR and financial stmts) so one is shaking in her shoes cause she is afraid she won't know what to do (Karma IS a bitch, ha!)

I have no money for food bec it goes to gas for commuting.  Iceman has been feeding me.

I got my new roof put on my house yest but I have been hanging at Iceman's.

My nieces are up from Georgia so I am hanging out with the two of them and my parents for the 4th.

Still looking for a job close to home, but the benefits are really good at my current job.

Did I mention that Iceman and I are doing really well, lol?  Some significant things have happened that would normally strain a relationship, but we are handling everything maturely and it is making us even closer.

Ice and I are simply CRAZY about each other with no end in sight!

Happy Birthday, Cristy!  :)

Ok, I'll try to get to everyone - a lot has happened this morning.  Hubby and I started working on our walkway.  We got huge asymmetrical 21 in by 16in stones to use as the stepping stones and sand rocks (think white to shades of light tan) to fill in around them.  We only got 5 bags of the sand stones, so we'll need to get about 6 or 7 more.  We had to dig and haul up dirt, spread it out with a hoe, and level it all off.  Then, we nailed down black covering to keep the weeds and grass down.  Then, put on the big stones then filled in what we could with the river stones.  We've also got to think about what kind of boarder we're going to use.  We thought we'd use the river rocks from the stream, but it just looked too undone.  I took some pictures, but don't want to post them until I can show you the finished product.

The kids were out all day today smearing each other in mud.  YEE-HA!  They were too dirty to come in to bathe, so we hooked up the hose ;D  The water was freezing, but I know have 6 clean babies.  We took pictures of them and I'll post them as soon as Hubby puts them in the computer.  They had a blast, but they looked like a lost tribe.

Latifa: we almost named our youngest son Adam, but we already had a daughter named Eden (did I just say that?), so that wouldn't have worked.

Betty: yeah, I was so tired last night and then the kids were up super early.  I'm usually awake by 6:30, but the kids were up earlier than that so I had to hit the ground running.  Today is the ideal weather day - high is 78 and bright sun with a gentle breeze.  It was nice to be outside working.  Tomorrow promises to be a steamer with highs of 87 and rain in the afternoon - YUK!!  We'll be holed up inside glugging buckets of water to stay cool.  oh, and happy 3rd! ;)

Cindy: i was thinking about you last night.  I'm glad to hear everything is going so well with you.  Ain't love grand?

Well, ladies, another episode of Macgyver is on so I'd better go.  We're going to my parents' house on Friday and Saturday for celebrations with each side of the family.  I'm debating baking tonight because tomorrow will be too hot.  If not, then I'll be up before dawn or staying up very late tomorrow to get it done.  Love to all of you!

Mum- You had me all excited for like 2 minutes cuz I thought today was the 3rd  :-\ I can't wait to see the pics of the kids and the rock-way.

Win- I think you and me are alot alike. I get real pissy if someone tries to take a tone with me.  I am glad you are feeling better.  How is Billy doing?

Drag- Sorry to hear that you are exhausted and your wrists are still bothering you.  Yup, my stepson is in a wheelchair.  Basically, he has no muscle what so ever so he can't stand, walk, lift or carry much.  He pulls his wheelchair around with his feet so he can fly around here no problem.

Moon- Nice to hear from you!  Glad things are going so well with you and Iceman! Sorry to hear about your GI scare but happy you are doing better.

Wish- I don't know what I would do without the kids, you must be in your glory, good thing you can talk to them everyday.  How is there father acting?  Sorry things did not work out with you and the youngin.  I have started walking nightly with a friend of mine and mostly the whole walk we bitch about our men, we have pretty much decided they suck!

I got one of the closets cleaned out so far and a couple of boxes in the back of my car for the Salvation Army.  I am going to get this house organized if it kills me.

 ;D

Oh, gravy, Snow, I thought today was the 3rd..lol..not sure where my head is.  I think the Albuterol and inhaler are destroying my brain cells ;D.

I know how you feel about the organizing.  I started this Spring because it's been on my summer "to do" list for the last couple of years and I never get it finished.  I was determined to have it all done before fall.  I think we ended up throwing away 30 garbage bags full, and taking untold amounts of stuff to both Goodwill and to people we could pass things along to (which is what I prefer to do).  We only have the office / school room left and then I'll be done.  It's the worst room for me, though.  Hubby tends to just put his files where ever regardless of how many "things" I get him or clear out for him to use.

For our family night viewing pleasure: "Cody Banks II".  For our snacking pleasure: movie mix. (popcorn, gummies, pretzels, "bug" cookies, peanuts, and sugar-free chocolate chips.)  For my snacking pleasure after the kids go to bed: a Girl Scout Cookie Blizzard made with Thin Mint cookies ;D

Love and moochies my honies!

Evening ladies,

Wow, what a lot of activity since this morning.

Keeping, congratulations on your numbers!  That's fantastic.

J, sorry you're waking up tired.  What are your numbers like?

Wendy, I think I've seen Celebrity Family Feud advertised, but I've never watched it.  I know who Vincent Pastore is.  I used to be a Sopranos addict.
How is Billy holding up?

Queen, good luck on getting the car all legal and back on the road.

Snow, I gotta be honest. My daughter's 24 and I don't remember when she used to talk "little kid" talk.  But I like to hear other people's kids.   Oh, and I can't answer very many questions on Jeopardy either; I like to play it because I'm getting old and it's supposed to keep the mind sharp. ;)

Cin, nice to hear from you, girlie!  I'm glad your GI problems seem to be resolving.  I'm looking forward to seeing Cheech in his new do.

Mum, it seems like you're getting our weather the day after it happens here.  It's pretty dark outside right now, blowing and thundering.  Yesterday was nice (in the 70's and sunny); today it got up to 88.  So, you thought today was the 3rd, aye?  Now, you can't blame that on the inhaler, because I remember you doing this before. :D  That's alright, dear, I understand.  With all those kids, I'm surprised you keep anything straight.

Well, in the last five minutes it got pitch dark outside.  And it's only 10 after 8 here.  It's thundering and really blowing and I'm sure the rain will be starting soon.  I'm going to have to go outside soon and smoke to watch everything.

I did nothing today.  Tomorrow I'm going to pay bills, do laundry and go grocery shopping.  This storm is supposed to cool things down back into the 70's.  And it's supposed to be nice Friday.  I'm going to get some brats and corn and have Alex grill them.  The less work I have to do.....  Have a good night ladies.

Evening Ladies---

Not much to report at all. Tried to transfer the title today but my gf brought the cremation certificate instead of the death certificate for her father's car so I have to do it in the morning. Lucifer is also going to the vet to get fixed. He is still trying to jump Nefertiti and I am not for anymore kittens and since I have a little change, I might as well get it done, he fathered a litter.

Cindy, good to see you post, was wondering what was going on with you. Great to hear that you and Ice are still knocking boots and getting closer... ;D Hmm, not sure what to say about the job, sorry? I remember when you were so gung ho about it but understands the strain it is causing. I hope you find something better. Can't wait to see the pics of Cheech.

Not sure if I am going to be feeling Family Feud. I really haven't since it was hosted by Richard Dawson and I don't even look at The Price is Right since Bob Barker died. So not into game shows anymore though I use to love The Weakest Link with both hosts. I loved the way the hosts would gun on the contestants.

I know it is windy here now too. I need to go roll the windows up on the car. I have been trying to air it out the last few days since it has a bit of a mildewy smell from sitting. I am wondering what I can use to get the smell out of there. I have used Febreeze and Out but it only seems to get rid of some of the smell. It got hot here today and I dove under the ac and it's suppose to be in the 90's I think for the 4th.

That is it for me, I am off to play Warcraft.

Good morning ladies!!

Well, I didnt wake up as tired as I usually do this morning which is good. Im still a bit fatigued but nothing like I have been lately. I was going to go back to bed, but its peaceful here this morning. The baby woke up, drank a bottle and drifted off to sleep again. The rest of the kids are sleeping so I figured I'd have a cup of coffee and enjoy the peace before the chaos begins.

Betty- I dont know what my numbers are. Still working on getting into the ID doctor. Transportation is an issue because my car is not working so I need to find a way to get there. Taxi isnt an option since the place is 50 miles away and a trip of that nature by taxi is more then i can afford.

Queen- I feel you on the game show thing. Some of the old ones just aren't the same with the orginal hosts gone and I haven't found a new one that I really like enough to watch on a reg basis. I hope all goes well for you with everything you have going on these days.

Mum- I know all about lil dirt monsters. Everyday my son comes in covered in dirt. I swear I think the kid rolls in it!!! He usually has tons of dirt in his shoes, and a dirty handprint on his face. My shower needs to be sprayed and cleaned everytime he gets out of it. He leaves a mud trail behind in the tub. Cant wait to see your pix!

Snow- good luck with the organization

Drag- sorry to hear your not feeling well. :-[

Well, besides my normal cleaning Im not sure what I'll do today. It seems like its going to be another beautiful. I need to get out. Im a bit down lately, money has been really tight for us these days. I feel as if Im being swallowed by bills and gas prices. I went to the store to get baby formula, I was pretty stoked because I had a coupon for $5 off. Well, for some reason the store wouldnt take the damn coupon so the extra $5 I thought I'd have is no longer, lol. Being broke is very stressful!!!!! I just pray something will happen soon and things will get better. I really need a new job aswell. But it seems Jobs are getting harder and harder to find these days too.

Well ladies, I'm off to watch some TV before the children take over. I'll be back later on.

                                                                                    ~J~

Morning ladies,

Queen, I don't blame you for wanting to get Lucifer fixed.

Jshort, have you been in touch with your local Aids Service Organization about the transportation issues with you seeing a doctor?  It's really important that you be followed regularly.

A couple nights ago I was watching Nancy Grace.  On there it had the story about a 12 year old Vermont girl who had disappeared; it also had on there about her uncle and stepfather being arrested for child pornography and I think one of them was for obstruction of justice.  Well, anyway, she was last seen with the uncle, who was running like a child sex slave thing.  Yesterday they found her body.  That kind of stuff makes me so angry.  In those cases, I wouldn't mind someone getting the death penalty.  They're not saying if the uncle was involved in the murder or not, but they found her body close to his house.

Today I'm paying bills, doing laundry and going shopping.  Other than that, nothing else going on.  I hope you ladies have a good day.  I'll probably be back later.

Betty, I have contacted my ASO. I signed up for case management but Im very frustrated with them. I met with a case manager when I intially signed up, then she gave my case to someone else. I arranged to meet with them then got a letter stating that they are no longer working at the ASO and my case will be given to someone else. Well this new guy called me and I havent gotten back to them yet. I hope he can help because the first lady seemed to know nothing. Im new to all this, I dont know what services Im entitled to and when I met this lady I felt like "the blind leading the blind" I hope this new guy is better

HEY BETTY - HAPPY 3RD!!! ;D

J: aren't kids fun?  I miss the "baby" years, but it is getting easier the older they get.  At one point, we had 5 in diapers :o.  Now, we're down to 1.  Not sure if she'll ever be potty trained, but we're not pushing her.  She's got some issues and has no clue about going potty.  She's the 1 in my avitar. What is the age ranges of your kids?  Our's are 11, 8 1/2, almost 8, 6, 5, 4. Three boys and three girls.  I like to have more, but Hubby has threatened to buy us bunk beds. :P

Q: I'll send my Hubby up there.  Maybe we can get a group discount on fixations..lol.  Have you heard anything about the house yet?

Hubby is off to visit clients.  The state legislature has given $3.5million to the program so that they can get caught up on paying people.  That's all nice and good, but the fiscal year started on July 1st, and without increasing the budget and without getting someone in there who'll better manage the money, we're going to be in the same situation again.  We know some practitioners that they owe $17,000 in backpay.  Another, they owe $10,000.

On his way home, he's going to get the rest of the materials so we can finish our walkway.  It's turing out a wee bit more than expected, but it'll look really nice and won't have to be redone.  Today it's supposed to be hot, hot, hot, (mid-80s) so I'm keeping on the airconditioners.  But, tomorrow it's back down to 70.  Not too warm for swimming, but perfect for being outside and watching the kids swim (and freeze).

Everyone is up and about, so I better go save my kitchen from the thundering horde.  I'll check in later..and bring pictures!  Love to you all.

 :-*Mum

PS. we don't even have any ASO's here. :-\

Hello Ladies hope you all are doing great and doing what you love most.

Im having an internet acess problem here today its on and off guess bse the power was out during the morning till midday...thought I should drop a line before it goes off again.

Jshort- Im in Dar Es Salaam Tanzania East Africa...you can imagine here we get CD4 count only I dont know my viral load. Im going to look into it more so that I know once and for all ...and Im going to tell then I dont see the logic of waiting till his one year old.  I appreaciate your concern dear and will keep you posted on the outcome.

keepingfaith,Dragonette, vivy thanks for the welcome hahahah im liking it here very very much....Im looking forward to knowing you all.

Hi GFs~

Welcome to the new faces here since I was on in mid-June!  I was catching up on posts last night and poor Cheech rung his own bell!  Someone in Iceman's neighborhood set off fireworks at 930pm and Cheech bolted back for the house from the yard.  Only prob was that the sliding glass door was shut.  Damnit!  My poor guy is all shaved down and has no fur (extra cushioning, lol) and runs SMACK into the glass door.  He was so scared and shaken from it but he's OK this morning.  It scared the crap outta me, to say the least.  Most of you know how attached I am to my doggie.  He's 14-1/2 yrs old and a NUT.

I am still at Iceman's, took all of this time off to help my mother out with my nieces and she hasn't even called.  Screw it.  I'll relax today and get together with family tomorrow and over the weekend.

I'm going to go eat some brownies that I baked and maybe play Guitar Hero.  Still checking for a new job closer to home but the market stinks.  No one wants to pay for good work, they'd rather pay less to a dumbass and then spend more money recruiting a few more later on.  Sigh.

Hey gfs...How is everyone this am??

Drag : Hey..yeah he WANTS them for the year...i have tentatively agreed. We will see. There are some things i could get done for myself, while he heads them..i am still thinking though.

I didnt actually break up with yungin...we had a really long talk the other night...till about 4 am sitting outside in his car...n he cried some and said that i hurt him by some of the things i say...( its my personality, never purposely) but never purposely never matters when u have hurt someones feelings...Apparently I had hurt him many times and he finally was able to express it to me without giving me attitude n walking away. He is hurt i sent my kids with their dad...he says now he has his son and i send mine away..he felt  like i sent them away cus of him...bcus of a comment i made about them needing a dad and him not being their dad...etc....I have never been one able to really rein in my tongue but i really do love him and want to work on making things suceed. I told him I am not a mind reader however and that it is imperative that he tells me how he feels cus honestly sometimes Im like a man and can be really selfish and unthoughtful, but i dont mean to be..im just so used to bullshit that i have conditioned myslef to guard my heart against any possible suspects.
So it seems we want the same things from each other but we express ourselves totally different. I get smart and start making sarcastic accusations..and he gets hurt n shuts down...and leaves or wants to hang up the fone...I told him a relationship takes alot of work and the only way im going to put work into another potentially doomed relationship ..i have to be 200% positive (lol) that it is real this time....
With all that being said we had the most amazing make up whoopie last night..(TMI?)..LOL never

Good to hear from u Cin! was wondering where u were...8 months huh..they go by so fast when its fun...its been a year now for me n yungin...

Snow the dad is acting like normal...stuck up snob..he thinks he is better than me...they have a really nice house n van, all kinds accessories according to my son...i dont care about that mess any more..He found him anothr Haitian woman..maybe thats what he needs..someone more like him...she is really nice tho..and no where near as fine as me..lol..the kids are behaving themselves rather well..i was surprised..she told me they were really good kids....but its only been a couple weeks...we will see about that....My son keeps asking me when am i coming and he keeps putting his baby sister (the new baby) on the fone for me to talk to ..i think its really cute..they love their lil sister...i thought i would be so pissy if he ever had another baby but i really dont care and my kids are loving it so im loving it too.

Whats everyone doin for the 4th?

Hi Wish~

I like the pics!  I am still trying to catch up on things around here with the Thread.  Sounds like you and yungin are moving in the right direction, though.  Rein in that tongue a little bit and you won't scare him off, sounds like he hung around and LISTENED to you.  That's good!  Its very tough to get a man to listen to you even when he's sitting right next to you, in one ear and out the other, I know........

Nice to hear that the kids are doing well with their father.  As for the nice house and van and material things that he has....they only last so long, GF.  You can have all of the cash in the world and pamper yourself to death, but you can still feel very lonely inside.

I envy some people that seem to "have it all" and have no prob paying but the bills, but then I smile to myself and remember that they DON'T have it all.   ;)  At least not the things that count, anyway.

OK, so my mother called a little before noon and asked if I was going to the waterpark with her and my nieces.  She didn't call at all yest and was pissy Tuesday afternoon when I was helping out, so I DECLINED.  Boy did she get off of the phone in a hurry.  She should have called yesterday and asked what I was doing today, I am too tired to jump at the last minute, esp when I can't please her no matter what I do.  Today is for ME, I have decided.  Cheech and I are hanging at Iceman's and maybe tomorrow I will catch up with my parents and nieces.  They still don't know what their plans are and I just hate that shit.  LOL

Thanks Cin, i really do plan on watching what i say....he wouldnt be around if he didnt care and i have to stop being so paranoid and sarcastic....

As for baby daddy...i dont worry bout that material stuff..i am doing well for a single mom of 3 by myself. I have a house, a car and a "big plasma" tv (as my son was so happy about)..theirs is prolly bigger but im content on what i have accomplished..i dont wan t my kids all caught up in that tho..like not wanting to come home cus daddy's tv is bigger..thats petty...Besides ..he is a cheater and a liar...i am not missing out on anything...

Your mom sounds like mine regarding never being satisfied..i cant stand that being that i am so "insensitive" anyways..lol

Its only recently that I have stopped saying "Yes, yes, yes" to Mom at the drop of a hat cause it just exhausts me.

I still feel the guilt but I am learning to deal with it and do things for me.

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!  Can you believe that we are STILL not finished with the walk!  I told Hubby to get 50 of the border sections and does he listen to me?? OF COURSE NOT!  He got 40 because the math fiend can figure it out all by his lonesome.  Well, guess what - we need 6 more.  Ok, so I over-estimated, but it would be finished!!!  And, for the inside border, he got exactly - NOTHING!  He asked what I wanted, I told him, he found it, then decided that he wanted me to see it first.  OK, normally that would make sense, except, I TOLD him that's what I wanted and told him how many we'd need.  HELLO!!  If you are going to ask my opinion then go do whatever you want, then DON'T ask me.  Hell, i might need to use that breath you made me waste as my last dying breath to write you outta my Will!  Now, we have to waste time and money (Lowe's is 25 miles away) to go get the stuff and finish.

Am I happy?  NO! >:(

Mum (who'll be flashing Hubby the mean mum face for the rest of the day and should make him take all the kids by himself to get the stuff so I can at least have a couple of free hours.  BUT, somebody has to make sure he gets it right)

Vent Alert
I tried on several dresses and a couple of slacks and blouses today. Trying to find something suitable for a funeral.
I just cant find nothing that looks good and feels good wearing it. If it feels good its butt ugly and if its uncomfortable its still not anywhere near what I'd want to wear.

Clothes shopping is depressing. I cant stand all these ugly prints and strange fabrics that seem to be trendy now adays.
Plus I don't want my ass crack hanging out and I'd prefer not to have my boobs hanging out either.
I also don't want any plastic beads or ornaments on my tops nor do I want shiny metallic crap and I don't think bedazzling my top is cute. And I don't want a shirt that shows my belly button or is see through. And I don't need a shirt that has words across the chest.

I'd likely still have a hard time finding clothes even if I was a size 6. I am a 12 and I swear everything out there in my size is ugly or inappropriately cut for my shape.

I have a big plasma tv too and I could care less about it (the BF bought it). I have many great things and sometimes i still get sad and depressed sometimes im happy......life is what you make it. I wake up every morning to a great man, and a bunch of crazy kids....and i love it!!!!!

Mum- ugh, so sorry to hear of your frustration, just think it will all pay off soon.

Wish- Beautiful pics, that camera phone takes some pretty good shots.  Glad to hear you and your man had a heart to heart, I hope things go well.  Nothing like some good make up booty.  ;D

Mum- I so hear you on that one. OMG!  Maybe that is just a guy thing, my SO does that all the time with me but his excuse is usually he wants me to see it and/or he gets tired of being in the store and wants to get in and out.  If it was up to him, nothing would ever get done.

Win- Do you have a JC Penney down there? or Kohls?  They have had some nice one color shirts that are relatively long.  I like some designs but the bedazzled is just gross to me.

I did nothing today but go grocery shopping and take the 2 older kids for a walk, which was stupid because it was hot as hell.  My son rode his bike and I pushed the others ones wheelchair, I was sweating bullets by the time I got home.
My friend that I have been going walking with has a girls drink night every now and then and I went for the first time last night. I didn't drink much but we were all laughing our asses off talking about fights we have gotten into.

I hope everyone has a good night and a nice 4th of July.  My parents are coming down here and we are going to have a cookout, I am not sure if we are going to venture out to fireworks because one of the 3some was scared to death last year.

Today was Kohls LOL last time was JC Penny. I really like both stores but I never find anything I want to buy for me.
Billy says I am too picky.  ;D

I went looking online and spent the time on www.myshape.com and entered all my measurements just to see what they suggest would look good on my body type. The measuring part was a pain in the ass and annoying because I am bigger than I want to be and measuring your body just reminds you of that. LOL
Anywho it turns out I am a body type M.

They described me as:

Women with softened, straight figures.
M-shaped women often have straight shoulder lines and rounded bottoms, and the difference between their waist and hip measurements averages 6-9 inches.
 Proportinate Shoulders, Bust & Hips
 Often a Straight Shoulder Line
 Defined Waist
 Curvy or Rounded Bottom

If my tummy was as flat as the lady on that page I'd be one happy camper.

I love the clearance sections at Kohls I always find stuff for under 5 bucks.  Have you tried Old Navy?  I haven't been going in there lately cuz there prices got too high for my budget.
As far as being picky, at least you know what you like.

Evening ladies,

Latifah, sorry about your computer.  I hope you have a good weekend.

Cin, I made some brownies a few nights ago.  Nothing like a good chocolate brownie is there?  I hope you can find something closer that's comparable to your job's benefits and pay.

Wish, you are a very pretty woman.  That yungin' is lucky to have you.

Mum, I hope you guys got all the material for your walk straightened out.

Jshort, I agree.  The more money one has, the more bills.  I'm happy with what I have right now.  Of course, there are things I would like to have; maybe someday when I can afford them.

Snow, that girl's drink night sounds fun.  If I still drank, I would so be there.  My problem is I can't stop once I start until I pass out.  I'm glad you're having fun though and taking time for you.  That's important.

Wendy, whenever I want a new outfit, I go to Goodwill or Salvation Army-seriously.  They usually have some nice clothes.  At least where I live.

Netta, that shirt is beautiful!  I wish I could do stuff like that.  I'm glad you'll have company for the 4th.

Well, today I paid bills, did laundry and went shopping.  I'm now broke again 'til next month. ;)  I don't have anything planned tomorrow, but I did get some brats, corn on the cob, potato salad and a big watermelon.  Hopefully Alex will be home to grill the corn and brats.  If not, I'll grill them myself.  Anything a man can do, a woman can do better, right ladies?  Have a good evening all.

Hey, Netta, I made the same top for my #6 in pink.  LOL..great minds think (and crochet) alike.  Did I send you the addresses for all the free patterns?  If not, PM me and I'll send them to you.  You can do the same top, but on the bottom, increase for a row, work even the next row, increase the next, then work even until it's the length you want it and YADA-BING!  You have a halter-top dress.

Winn, I went to body shape and I'm a shape "A".  I still can't find anything that will fit me.  Plus, I only wear skirts or dresses and according to stores, they are "out of style".  I couldn't even find a dress around Easter time.  I have a terrible time finding things for the girls to wear, too.  I buy all their dresses in bigger sizes so their butts are covered.  I buy their shirts the same way.  They aren't allowed to leave the yard in anything that shows their belly.  All the shorts were either Daisy Dukes, or had words accrossed the butt.  So, I ended up making their shorts, and my dresses.  Nothing fancy, but we're not nekked ;D

Wish, you are one beautifical woman!

We ended up not going back out.  The kids didn't get their naps and were too cranky to take out.  I'm going Monday to get the rest of the stuff.  It looks really nice already and I can picture what it's going to look like once it's done.  Right now we're having some significant rainfall, so Hubby and i went out to see how it was holding up.  It's doing just what we wanted it to do: cover up the low point in the yard between the back deck and the hill so we don't have to walk up the hill to get to the back nor do we now have to walk in mud and 4inch water every time it rains.  The drainage we put underneath is carrying the water away from that area and on down into our drainage pond. ;D

Not a whole lot going on.  When the kids go to bed, Hubby is going out in the rain into town to get me a Girl Scout Blizzard from DQ.  I may just let him sleep inside tonight after all..lol.

Much love to you all!

I haven't been in an Old Navy in a year or more. The only thing I have ever found there that would fit me was a tshirt. Most of the clothes I remember seeing are too youthful looking for me. Junior department kinda look.

The Goodwill or Salvation Army around here cost as much as Walmart I swear. I'd rather buy new Walmart than used thrift store. The vast majority of the clothes that I have are from Walmart. I don't particularly like what I wear but if I have it that means it was likely comfortable and cheap. LOL
Thats pretty much sums up my style. Cheap and comfortable. That is likely why I have such a hard time finding dressy clothes.
Its just soooo not me.
I'd rather wear a long skirt than a dress. With a skirt you can hide the crixo belly easier.
The juniors department of most stores drive me nuts. Everything is too thin and shows too much skin. And your right Mum the words across the ass just isn't attractive. Plus the junior department is usually way bigger than the misses department.

Billy left for Houston a couple of hours ago. He hasn't called yet to say he is there. I'm thinking he wont be there till 7:30 or 8.
I hate when he goes out of town. Even though he snores and talks in his sleep I miss having him next to me in bed.
It should be a boring weekend here. I hope he gets back all in one piece and really quick. He's my best friend.
I've never met a man who treated me as well as he does.

netta --- the shirt is beautiful!!!! I wish I could do things like that!!!! Ive been wanting to learn how to crochet for the longest time but have nobody to teach me, maybe oneday.

oh and about the clothing shopping ladies, I HATE clothing shopping these days :'( I still have 20lbs left that i havent lost from my last pregnancy. I'm extremely depressed and haven't bought any new clothes. im trying to lose weight but its just not working which leaves me frustrated. I cant stand to buy clothing bigger then what i already have in my closet, call me crazy but thats just how i am. So I'll either be stuck in sweats the rest of my life or I'll  lose weight, lol.

when i was clothing shopping I loved H&M. My style varies, i love jeans and casual things but I also love skirts and dresses too. I usually can find just about anything from H&M but clearance of course because they can be a bit pricy.

win-- I used to like old navy too, they were always reasonable, i dont know what happened their prices have become outrages. Oh and no thanks to the plastic beads. whatever happened to classic styles???
