Tommy Morrison - HIV Negative

Hi,

I am not sure if this is the right place to post -- but here is the link.

Quite interesting is the statement by Dr. Kirchner of AAHIV (American Academy of HIV Medicine), equating undectectable VL to negligible risk.

More likely, Kirchner said, is that Morrison, like Magic Johnson, has been taking HIV drugs and they have worked so well that the disease is more or less in remission. Kirchner said such patients can often function at a high level athletically, and are not at great risk to others. "If the virus level is undetectable, the risk of passing that virus to another person is close to zero," he said "

Tommy said that he refused to take the aids medicine according to the article.

"Life is awfully quiet when you retire," Morrison said. "My life started spinning out of control. People thought I was crazy. My own family turned against me because I wouldn't take the medication that they were giving me because it would have killed me."

Tommy also believes that HIV is harmless and that the AIDS drugs is what actually kills you. Pretty crazy.

http://www.poz.com/articles/242_1733.shtml#

In 1997, "The Duke" was interviewed for POZ magazine: Tommy Morrison, a former top heavyweight champion, who stopped boxing since he tested HIV positive, is fighting the HIV-AIDS dogma now. POZ Magazine, a glossy for HIV believers, covered his battle in their July, 1997 issue.

Morrison thinks HIV is harmless, and AIDS is just a fraudulent collection of symptoms. He believes it is the medication which is killing people with HIV.

"I don't even take aspirin," Morrison said. "You know why?

Because I'm not sick." "The human body was made to cure itself, but we keep putting lots of shit into it," he explains further. Morrison resisted the pressure to take antiviral medication, he even refused to take the medications prescribed to him by 'Time's Man of the Year' Dr. David Ho. "Boy, I get mad," he said. "If somebody told you something, and you found out that if you'd followed their direction, you'd have died...

These guys tried to kill me, and they're killing a bunch of other people, and it ain't right. And I'm not going to let it happen." (POZ July 1997)

A bright moment for POZ.

And even sadder this Tommy Morrisson character still has unprotected sex (prolly with a sky high VL!!)

These dissidents all sound like a broken record. They use the same words over and over e.g. toxins, AZT, poppers, blah blah. Disgusting how they say AIDS has been around for centuries while saying HIV "does nothing" which is bullshit. HIV itself in many cases can be blamed for wasting, weakness, even if you never get an OI. I speak from experience. Back when my VL was 100,000 I ate everything in sight but I still couldn't gain a pound. After starting HAART, guess what? I gained 18 pounds in just a few months

Oh i think he's HIV negative from what I've "heard".  But I dont think he was EVER HIV positive.  I think he only took one test in 96 and thats it.  I may be wrong on that tho.

Oh, ok sorry. I guess on my part there's some envy if he's a LTNP or something although he shouldn't knock ARV's, calling them poison and every name in the book. HAART is great!

Gotta love the dissidents. They claim to have HIV, without medical intervention or confirmatory testing. Then, shock! They claim that they are "cured" when, years later, without having seen a doctor in the meantime, they test negative.

You just can't penetrate that circular logic.

If he IS negative why would he not have lawsuits on his hand right now due to the fact that he lost his career for the last 11 years.  Why would he not sue every doctor and why would he not OFFER to take this test right now with people.  I think this is a careless act on his part and even the fighter who will be up against him.

franfrog,  why do you think it's a careless act for the person that's gonna fight him? I'm sure you knew someone was going to ask you to explain. Before you reply, who do you know that has ever been infected via boxing or any other sport besides sport f@@king?
