Title: Help me please!!
Post by: df88 on October 02, 2012, 01:01:46 am
The other day I met with a 20 year old guy who has hooked up mtuliple times from craiglist.com.  He was last tested in August and tested Clean for HIV.  The other day I met him at his house and fingered his hole while he jacked off using lotion.  After he had cummed on his chest i took his hand, lapped some of it up, and stuck it in his mouth.  Then within a few minutes I kissed him multiple times.

I work a very crazy schedule so I could just be exhausted, but I met him about 5 days ago.  Over the last couple days, I have developed a small headache, and today I feel week, chills (that are gone now), sore throat, slight pain sparatically in the ear, and a headache.

I am so scared that this is HIV.  I mean it does seem ike the signs.  What do you think?

BTW:  the 20 year old told me that he always wears protection, and never swallows loads

Under no circumstance could you possibly get HIV from the situation as you described.

If you are unclear as to how to protect yourself (and your partner) from HIV, then please read our LESSONS. In short, wear a condom for penetrative sex. That's it. Nothing else is an HIV event.

df,

Sometimes coincidences just happen. Nothing you did was a risk for hiv infection. Not only that, but even if you did have a risk (you did NOT have a risk), you would not be feeling the effects of hiv seroconversion after only four days. Maybe you got a cold or flu from him, but not hiv as you did NOT have a risk.

Here's what you need to know in order to avoid hiv infection:

You need to be using condoms for anal or vaginal intercourse, every time, no exceptions until such time as you are in a securely monogamous relationship where you have both tested for ALL sexually transmitted infections together.

To agree to have unprotected intercourse is to consent to the possibility of being infected with an STI. Sex without a condom lasts only a matter of minutes, but hiv is forever.

Have a look through the condom and lube links in my signature line so you can use condoms with confidence.

ALTHOUGH YOU DO NOT NEED TO TEST SPECIFICALLY OVER ANY OF THE ACTIVITIES THAT ARE WORRYING YOU, anyone who is sexually active should be having a full sexual health care check-up, including but not limited to hiv testing, at least once a year and more often if unprotected intercourse occurs.

If you aren't already having regular, routine check-ups, now is the time to start. As long as you make sure condoms are being used for intercourse, you can fully expect your routine hiv tests to return with negative results.

Don't forget to always get checked for all the other sexually transmitted infections as well, because they are MUCH easier to transmit than hiv. Some of the other STIs can be present with no obvious symptoms, so the only way to know for sure is to test.

Use condoms for anal or vaginal intercourse, correctly and consistently, and you will avoid hiv infection. It really is that simple!

I went to the doctor today and tested poz for strep throat.  I have a friend who said that he wad diagnosed with HIV cuz he developed strep throat, and never got better, so they then tested him for HIV,

Does this make sense?

That does not make sense, unless the person went on to develop an opportunistic infection from advanced HIV disease. Such a person would have had HIV for years.

There is no correlation whatsoever between strep throat and HIV.
