Wow, how sad I have not posted
« on: September 13, 2006, 05:52:24 pm »
When I was first diagnosed with HIV, I was a mess.  On this site ALL day long looking for answers, looking for others like me in my area.  I live in Milwaukee, WI, you would think there would be plenty.

I digress.  I signed up for the new forum software sometime ago, but as time has gone by, HIV is no longer in the forefront of my brain, so I guess I lost track of my old friends in the forums.

Nothing really new to report from end (Is that good or bad).

CD4's have never been above 225 in the last 4 years of meds.  Today I saw my Dr. I told him I wanted to try Truvada, if not just to lose one pill (with my twice a day Combivir). cd4=215 and vl = undectectable.

I work in the same place, different job (developer for www.marcustheatres.com), enjoying it, but why is it you really never leave your old job either? hmmm...
Take care, I will try to keep up and post a bit more often than once a year.

Craig

Dear Craig,

WOW, so good to hear from you again.  Was hoping that all was well with you.  And so glad to hear that things are status quo.

There is a relatively new member to the Forum, from Milwaukee, too (LivingPositively).  He's a super guy that we enjoyed spending time with in Montreal.  Now, Mister we need to get together.  He has some super ideas about how we can make an impact on the HIV/AIDS community here in Milwaukee.

Hope to see more of you soon.  Give me a call.

Hugs, Ric

Craig:

I too have not posted in a while either.  I remember that when I first came here very frightened and looking for re-assurance yours was one of the first posts I read.  Glad to hear all is well.

Hi Craig,

We haven't met, but Ric, I see has mentioned me.  Yep, a fellow cheese-head (although, I'm a transplanted cheese head  :D ).  I'm actually over in Waukesha.

Hope to get to know you better.

Take care,

Shane
