Miss Zita is eight years old today . She is an English bulldog .
I had pick of the litter and chose her at 2 weeks old . I went to see her every week until she was ready to come live with me ... She has been my best friend and saw me through more chemo therapy than I care to remember . She stayed by my side and knew just when too insist on a walk around the block or some play time . She made sure I did not lay around and feel sorry or take myself to seriously , and for that I love her even more than the day she joined my life .

If this sounds to sentimental and sappy so be it .... I love my bulldog  ;D

Zita was having a wonderful time at her party, then things started getting a little out of hand, forcing her Daddy Jeff to step in and he started
to break the party up...

That's too funny ....Thanks everyone .
We are going to a barbecue at lake Martin today . Zita used to chase ducks until a goose stood up to her , now she just pretends she doesn't see them ... you know , bulldog pride and all .
