Everyone should note that all those photos were taken mere blocks away from Miz Phellatio's penthouse suite.

HIV is certainly character-building. It's made me see all of the shallow things we cling to, like ego and vanity. Of course, I'd rather have a few more T-cells and a little less character. Randy Shilts

oops,
this is a better link to the home page of this site.
http://readyorknot.tumblr.com/
another note: my dearest and oldest friend of 35+ years started this blog.
one of my recent favorites for all of you dog/cat people is the 8 frame "skit" of actors playing the part of a dog, a cat, and their owner.
very cute but i think the original maker transposed the last 2 frames.

there are so many neat things to see on tumblr and he has reblogged his favorites.
architecture, imagination, humor, beauty, etc.

some day i will figure out how to get a few of these pics transfered over to the forums when appropriate. ::) :)

I KNEW that would get me in trouble!  :o
Actually, I have no idea who is wearing the red dress but Freud might have a comment or two.
Hmmm....
Off to my psychiatrist this afternoon, maybe I should bring it with me?

So what ever became of your macaroni cock chicken? Didn't you save it?

I started to try my hand at painting a bit about a year or two ago.
Here are some samples.
The large 30" X 50" waterlily painting has a long way to go.
Got to tone down the leaves and add the flowers.
The other is a painting of the Connecticut River.

True story. I entered those "color-in the ______" contests in the local city newspaper when I was a boy and won several times.  20 dollar gift certificates to the gift shop, department store, restaurant was usually the 1st prize.

One Xmas a "nice lady" from the "nice" department store downtown called me and told me I would get 2nd place and she said my entry was "spectacular" but they wouldn't give me first place. I had used glitter and tempera paint and outlined the "color in the holiday house" with gold cord.  She explained that not every family had the money to have glitter and gold cord, so I could understand that it was fairer to give 1st to someone who used all colored pencil.  Since I had won other contests, I was not bitter. It was one of those wake up calls you receive all through childhood.  Cause we were lower middle-class -- and I was always thinking - geez everyone in school has nicer things, houses, holidays, etc. But no, theres a very wide wide range of standards of living, I had to realise.  Well, at least I had glitter.  In every damn color on the market...  :o
