A heartfelt thanks.

I've given bits and pieces of my experiences and hope to return the benefits I've rec'd from this forum.  Being diagnosed with AIDS before computers were common place and drugs were not readily available, I suspect there are many who share my philosophy.  I am not trying to conceive of a Hallmark movie special, but rather, a glimpse into the common world we share.

I've lived everyday like I was past the point of dying.  I've encountered the horrors of this disease, the loss of too many loved ones passing, the endless bouts of illnesses and the desire to almost give up.

I went through periods of near denial thinking THEY must be wrong.  I agonized over why my friends were dying so quickly and I am still around.  I lost the love of my live, I lost my heart and anticpated my end.  It sounds so bad.

Over the last few months I've been shown love, compassion and a sense of determination that can't be beat.  I don't know why I survived the early days, but I have gradually started taking advantage of them.  One day at a time.  And I need to really thank those of you who really helped me in my darkest hours.

Thanks again for all my new friends.  Some of you really helped

There are a whole bunch of great, compassionate and knowledgeable people here Wolf and it is a great forum to have at our 24/7 beck and calling.

Glad you are doing well,

Jody
