This is an article in the Des Moines register today 3/29.
Just thought it might be interesting reading.
This is the link http://www.desmoinesregister.com/article/20090329/NEWS/903290339/1001
but Im not sure if the register link changes after Sundays online paper posting.
So the link might become a dead link tomorrow. Not sure.
Anyone that wants to cut and paste the text in this post is welcome to do so.
I would but just leaving for work in a few...
THe article just caught my attention, since seeing anything printed like this
concerning "home town USA" is very rare these days.
As we all know, HIV only happens in those "other" countries over there.
Or so the general population tends to believe.
The link for the general newspaper is http://desmoinesregister.com/
The article should show up there, somewhere, after Sundays online paper expires/updates.

  • red pill? or blue pill?
Thanks for sharing.
Interesting to read about their experience.
Though I find the journalist paints kind of a dark mood ("the shadow of AIDS"??? oh brother).
